Great atmosphere, great service and the food was very good. We got the (baby) scallops meal and it was hardly an appetizer. The price was 38$ very expensive. We left for another restaurant.

Haven’t had food like this (at least often) since we left NYC for LA. Beautifully executed, thoughtful, and delicious. We got a little of everything—Parker House roll w/caviar, smoked fish dip, lettuces, mushrooms, smashed potatoes, broccoli, and steelhead special. Had a ton of food to take home. Given the focused menu, we appreciated the smart inclusion of protein (caviar, nuts, seeds, etc) in just about every app/vegetable plate. Our server, Jen, was also excellent— helped us build a great pescatarian meal down to the wine pairing. Cheers to the team here.

Outstanding. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome and every member of staff we encountered was excellent. Food is incredible, hummus, broccoli, potatoes, lamb and the lemon meringue pie ice cream - all very memorable. Dishes as unique as the plates they arrive on. Drinks were excellent, too. Can’t recommend this spot highly enough. Almost opposite experience to what we had at Ventuno the night before.

Hi ! I just wish to respond to Melanie Petros review as a guest who dined the same evening in the same vicinity & who ruined our dining experience.
We have never seen someone act so entitled and disrespectful to a team of people accommodating a large parties multitude of requests. The restaurant is not a country club nor a hospital, but this “Dr” acted as if they were the only guests who have ever had a dietary concern.
We saw the server who was constantly taken away from our table to address the outrageous activity at their table, remain calm and take whatever steps were needed to try to make that lady and her daughter happy.
We were impacted by their dining at proprietors - but we still had another amazing dining experience - with incredible food (unchanged off the menu) - delicious drinks and kind attentive service from start to finish.
Keep it up team props- you are the OG of Ack

Chicken, broccoli, beef tartar, and mushrooms are all a must-order. Our waitress was wonderful and informed our near perfect order. Upstairs seemed to be the louder settings as they can accomodate large parties. We didn't mind but if you prefer quiet then I'd recommend sitting downstairs.
