The Summer House Restaurant is a Nantucket institution, offering delicious seafood and American cuisine in a beautifully restored Victorian home. The elegant yet cozy dining room features a fireplace and baby grand piano, with outdoor seating on the porch offering ocean views. The menu boasts fresh, locally sourced ingredients, with standouts like the lobster roll, clam chowder, and grilled swordfish, as well as fantastic dishes such as the Thick Cut 12oz NY Strip with Truffle Fries and the Pan Seared Filet Mignon. The service is top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff, and the atmosphere is perfect. Enjoy a special meal in the charming setting, complete with live piano music on Friday nights. While there may be a wait for food, the excellent service and some of the best dishes on the island make it well worth it.
