It is a quaint restaurant, typically of Nantucket. Great service, atmosphere, and, most importantly, wonderful food. If you have a chance, order the blueberry Crème Brûlée.

Food was good (expensive, but good), our server was professional & nice (but restaurant was understaffed - he seemingly had every table) but the earlier reviewer was totally right - the locals at the bar were LOUD. Really loud and the place is tiny and sound seems to reverberate. I won’t go again. Too expensive to listen to those guys shout all night.

We were here on our wedding night and asked for the corner table, and was refused because we had 4 people and needed 5. Place was almost empty, besides 4 very loud drinkers at the bar, and nobody used the corner table all night. This was our favorite place on Nantucket, but never again!

Best chicken sandwich I have had! The fish and chips, and the chowder were also incredible. So glad they’re open off season and the heated patio is lovely.

Peter was an absolute pleasure to have as a server this evening. He was courteous and excited about his work at Town. It has always been my favorite place on island, and I am pleased to say it was the best experience I've had to far.

We had been here before and loved it. Pretty outdoor seating. But this time the restaurant made no effort to work with dietary restrictions and basically said no changes. So being gluten free for medical reasons I had only one option on the menu. Not something I would have picked. It was fine but nothing special. The food was ok but expensive. But I wouldn’t go back based on the attitude of the server and the kitchen. Gluten free is common these days. First time a restaurant wouldn’t leave something off to make it compliant. Other restaurants are great so no need to go back here.Dietary restrictions: They had almost no options and refused to work with me by leaving something off that would have made the fish compliant.

Great place good food and best sushi If you're on Nantucket Island and this place is recommended with delicious food and drinks.

Great spot for outdoor sushi on a hot summer day. The drinks were cold, our server was good-and what a nice spot to lunch off the hustle bustle of a Saturday afternoon in downtown. You can't go wrong with the sushi-though some of the rolls are a bit derivative of each other.

We have only gone one time so this is just based on one experience. We ordered truffle fries and two different sushi rolls. The fries we cold, clearly bottom of the barrel. The rolls were made by someone that appeared inexperienced rices was at different thicknesses and rolled poorly so it would fall apart when picking it up. I would recommend for a drink at the outside bar fun crowd good drinks.

We love Town! The menu options are outstanding! The staff are friendly, and we love that they're open year-round for us islanders! Highly recommend to anyone wanting a great meal!

I really like this cute little place in downtown Nantucket. It's a tight squeeze, but they fit a surprisingly large number of people in Town. They have outdoor, bar, high-top, and regular indoor dining seating. I would not have thought so, but they actually serve excellent sushi, and an exceptional shrimp tempura roll and veggie spring roll. Jocelyn has been my server twice, and she does an excellent job. I found the decor cozy and calming. Great place for a drink and relatively healthy bite. I've been twice, and will go back. Thumbs up.

We enjoyed our first visit to towne last year but i unfortunately this trip was a different story. I had the seafood stew and it was close to inedible. The broth was mediocre and a muscle tasted so terrible I spit it out. My daughter's meal - a chicken and rice dish - was fine. For $100+ for two people (hummus, two entrees and two sodas ) it's not worth a revisit.

My daughter and I had the deviled eggs, the spare ribs, the spring rolls, and the Thai chicken. Every dish was amazing. Our server Leonardo was attentive and answers our questions. The menu was easy to find what items were dairy free (allergy here) which makes things so much easier for us. We loved the food, the service and the ambiance. Highly recommend!
