This is an old fashioned neighborhood restaurant like you would find in the1950s. I like the atmosphere. The veal parmasan was tender with lots of cheese. The sauce was bland consisting of tomato chunks. This is not a gourmet restaurant. It is a noble neighborhood restaurant with good food and friendly service. If you want gourmet go to Federal Hill in Providence or the Nirth End in Boston. Then remortgage the house.

I'm really disappointed. I usually come here at least twice a week for a cocktail, but my recent takeout orders have either been completely wrong or poorly cooked. I truly appreciate the service and the kindness of the bartenders, but having to recook my food at home is just not acceptable. Tonight, they were out of burger patties, so I ordered a pizza instead. Unfortunately, the middle was raw, and I couldn't even pull a full slice out without it falling apart. I had to cook it in the oven at home, which is really frustrating. I'm sad about this and may have to find a new place. (picture below was even after cooking it)

This has been the neighborhood staple since I was a kid, unfortunately food has definitely gone downhill, there french dips used to be the best, but got two for takeout and they were very skimpy and French fries were soggy and looked like they are not keeping up with there oil in fryer or it's not hot enough, I like my fries to be crispy, being a cook for many years this saddens me....

Ordered takeout pizza 4 of them, heard wonderful things so I came in from NH, well not impressed the pizza was ok for bar pie. Very thin crust nothing but flop when I took a slice, undercarriage not brown and no crisp, the person I spoke to was very nice , looks like a nice small spot so I wouldn't say don't go but for me the pizza was a 6.0
Just my opinion and again it might fit others better.

Great pizza 🍕!! Prime rib is a good portion! Hot meatball grinder or ziti with meatballs is also a favorite. Excellent fish and chips-freshest fish ever! Great atmosphere and reasonably priced. Oh, they have a salad 🥗 with grilled chicken, dried cranberries, cheese 🧀, cukes, onions and they have a raspberry vinaigrette that is sooooo good!! I make my own but this I could drink by the glass!! Lol 😂

Food was horrible, had no taste and not many options. Got the Alfredo it was tasteless no matter how much salt and pepper I added. The buffalo mac and cheese was super sour and the chicken tasted rotten and slimy. Egg parm had tomato sauce on top that tasted like it came straight from a can. Waitress was kind!
Food was excellent, and the portions were big. Service was high quality and very pleasant.

I order a grilled chicken ceaser salad and my husband ordered a medium well cheeseburger. The women at the pick up counter appeared to be drinking alcohol. When I opened the salad at home my chicken was raw in the middle. They sliced the chicken and yet somehow didn't notice or care that the chicken wasn't cooked. My husbands burger was medium rare but atleast it was cooked. When I called them to talk to them about it I was yelled at and hung up on. My husband called back and they said we were "disconnected." We eventually got refunded for our meal, but I will never eat there again and really suggest no one orders meat unless they want to be sick because obviously they don't make sure their food is cooked properly.
