It pains me to have to leave a 2 star review to this place. Firstly, I like the vintage Chinese restaurant look of this place. The owners are always very friendly and It's a good place to just hang out at the bar. This place used to make the best ribs and house fried rice and pretty much everything I tried was generally good. I wouldn't have hesitated to recommend this place in the past. But something or someone has changed as of late in the kitchen. The last time I was there only one waitress was there because one called out. Even though the place was busy at that time did an excellent job of making sure everyone was taken care. Very pleasant and attentive. She even convinced me to order desert something I don't typically do and was hesitant to do after having my disappointing typical go to meal. The rice was extremely oily/greasy and the ribs were too. My Dad had the same experience with his take out on a prior occasion as well. The owners were not there that night. Had they been, I would have mentioned it to them. Too bad, because I really used to love the food at this place.
