Out waitstaff, including Chris, was phenomenal! The food and drinks were totally wonderful. The atmosphere was excellent. It's our new favorite! Thanks to everyone there, it was a perfect evening.

Have heard great things about Cultivator Shoals and finally got to check it out with a few girl friends. The atmosphere is casual and intimate perfect for grabbing drinks and catching up. There is a bar with seating but other tables and high tops are available as well. And I believe with a reservation you can be seated in the igloos outside. We got a few different cocktails and some appetizers. All of which were yummy! Espresso martini was creamy and smooth. The Ramona was fruity like drinking an adult juice box, so good! And we got the St. Paddy's Day special Shamrocked which was garnished with a rainbow candy and marshmallows. The vibes were just everything! All of the staff really seemed to be working together to help one another which is what I love to see in these local communities, keep up the great work. Wonderful experience

We rented one of the igloos for Valentine's Day. Metal chairs, metal table, no decorations, heater not working. Absolutely no ambiance at all. Granted, I was spoiled from visiting The Reef igloos in Newport, which are amazing, but this was a very sad showing. Nothing to indicate it was Valentine's Day, not even a read tablecloth. Thankfully, there was a table available inside. We ordered two appetizers, which came fairly quickly, about 20 minutes after the order. We then placed an order for a third appetizer, which after an hour of waiting, never came. Now I realize this was Valentine's Day but the place was not packed. Busy yes, packed no, as evidencedd by tables being available. Our waitress Bella was wonderful, very apologetic, and did her best to try and fix things. As we readied to leave she came over with our lost appetizer, packed to go, and took it off the bill. Three highlights, the food we did receive was very good, drinks good as well, and Bella was wonderful. If you are looking for a 'special night' this isn't the place, but for a regular evening, it is fine. Don't bother with the igloos, they are a joke. We did get a good laugh out of it.

Recently had dinner and many drinks in one of the igloos. Menu is very limited to elevated pub grub, but every item we had was really delicious. The space is chopped up into large and small snugs, and the bar area is quite intimate. They seem to be expanding in the spring, and looking forward to that. It is the drinks that are the real draw. Craft cocktails both invented and drawn from the past with very cool descriptions on the menu. There really is nothing like this in the area. The vibe is very upbeat and fun.

Found this quaint bar last night during a break from the nearby Whaling Museum. Big recommendation for their espresso martini! We ordered the nachos which had nice pickled onion topping. Our server was hustling and so accommodating! Great find!!!!

I visited this bar/restaurant last night. I selected to sit outside in one of their heated igloos, which was cutely decorated For food, I ordered the spicy Deviled Eggs, Salt & Vinegar Fries, & Garlic Parmesan Wings. For drinks, I got the Violet Royale & Love & Fear cocktails. Everything tasted amazing & the service was awesome ❤️

Love it here. I think this is the best burger in New Bedford. The chicken sandwich, fries and buffalo chicken dip are also great!

Food was good; menu is limited, but good pub food, esp lobster rangoons-stuffed with large hunks of lobster. We dined in an igloo; would not recommend. Heated acceptably, but rather bare bones; bare metal grate table and chairs; nice if you want the privacy, but not great for just two, not a romantic ambiance. Larger groups might enjoy, but you're unable to hear music. My drink was very good; spicy tequila cocktail. Husband wanted a skrewball whiskey, they don't have. He asked for apple martini, also could not make. He settled for a watermelon martini but it was very sweet and he did not enjoy. Service was fantastic, waitress very friendly, efficient and quick.

Cultivator Shoals is by far the best bar experience in all of Downtown New Bedford. Wonderful atmosphere indoors as well as outdoors! The food is always a hit and the drinks are amazing! The staff is all absolutely wonderful, friendly and attentive!I would recommend this bar to anyone who is traveling to New Bedford and looking for a nice, classy, bar experience!Vegetarian options: A lot of their menu contains vegetarian options such as the Nachos that you can order with beef as an add on!

The drinks are top notch. The food is so delicious. There is not a typical dining room. The seating is basically only bartop style. Come here and have a couple cocktails and share a few plates. You won't regret it.
