I had only heard of this place when I was in high school years ago bc my friends aunt used to go on weekends & we'd babysit her kids. Fast forward 20+ yrs & a friend suggested going here, that it been reopened by friends & the pizza is amazing.... And omg was it! I've been thinking about it ever since & can't wait to have a chance to go back, even if it's for a pizza or two to go! Hoping this weekend (I'll add pics then, bc I forgot the 1st time). Drinks were made perfectly & I'm kind of picky about my drink, lol! The atmosphere was also friendly & inviting, I'll definitely be back.... For pizza, or just for a night out with friends. Also, there was enough for me to take the rest of my pizza home & it heated up in the air fryer perfectly the next day š

Not sure what's going on at the Dipper Cafe..the pizza has really hit the skids. Total flop. No under carriage, greasy, and hardly laced edges. Very disappointed.
I just tried to Pizza over there and is incredible only 1 wrong thing make a bigger one I know is a bar pizza but this place can turn into a pizza place anytime

Ive ordered through GrubHub for delivery several times now. Each time the pizza was fantastic, cooked well and always as ordered. Thanks!
The pizza was excellent, definitely worth a trip there.

If you believe there are no second acts in America allow me to introduce you to a little place called Dipper Cafe. If you asked me to rank the old dive bars of New Bedford in order of the likelihood they experienced a revival this place would have easily been in the bottom three.
And yet somehow, someway, the Dipper has reinvented itself as one of the best spots on the South Coast for bar pizza. Didnāt see that coming. As a bar it is similar to how it used to be, except itās quieter. It doesnāt seem to attract the ski crowd like it once did.
Staff is generally solid. Couple of the bartenders are really good. Kitchen can get backed up with orders so best to call it in before showing up, even if you plan to eat in.

good crispy bar pizza. one bite everybody knows the rules.
For as small as this place is, its quite the little spot to go and have fun. Ordered some pizza to go and it was amazing. Crispy and not that greasy. Just enough. Highly recommend.

Pizza was good like 3months ago got it today n itz terrible never again
Great little spot with some of the best pizza within a few hours. They also have vegan cheese as an option, and itās actually great. Even my cheese loving boyfriend loved the vegan one calling it āthe best pizza around here.ā Loved the crust and topping options.

Was pretty surprised that they had vegan cheese as an option. I had really wanted to try this place for a while, but most of the menus I saw online were simple- just regular pizza. I decided to call just wondering as I was about to try a pie without cheese. They not only have vegan cheese as an option, but a few mock meats as well. I went with just jalapeƱos and pineapple- the best toppings in my opinion. SO good! Iāve never been able to have dairy and always missed out on a a good old bar pie (Iām always jealous.) Dipper was not just good for being vegan, it was just really good. My lactose friendly, meat eating partner said āthis is the best pizza I have had here.ā And yes, he was talking about the vegan one.
I only go for karaoke night. It's a great time
Very bad customer service! I have already gone on several occasions and the waitress or bartender attends badly all the time
