Very cute Japanese restaurant! It was easy to find off the street parking. Upon entering, we were quickly greeted by staff. The owner was our server and he went over the menus with us. I really enjoyed the tea I got (the Ayame?), it was refreshing. The miso soup was tasty and I absolutely loved the three speciality rolls I got! This will be my new favorite go to spot for sushi (worth the drive from Tiverton!) It's a small restaurant, so it does take time for dishes to come out. But I could tell they put a lot of effort into the presentation, which is nice. Lastly, the owner gave us free tea (yuzu!) to finish our meal and offered us some cute sushi stickers. Overall, such a great experience. Definitely recommend!

I found this place on Yelp and we gave it a shot. The place is adorable and only seats about 16 people. It’s BYOB which we were not aware of as it was our first visit. The edamame appetizer was delicious. We also split the spicy tuna roll and another roll that had shrimp tempura and short rib. Both rolls were very fresh and delicious! I loved the table setup and the wall of post-it comments. Our server was delayed coming to our table but other than that it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely go back!

I found this place on Yelp and took a gamble with only 3 reviews. We pulled up and had to decide whether or not to go in since it was completely empty. I am so happy that we did. The place is adorable! It's very small and only seats 16, I believe. We were greeted quickly and served water. We then found out it is BYOB which is the only thing I wish I had seen beforehand. We had the salted edamame as an appetizer which was absolutely delicious. We split the spicy tuna maki and a sushi roll that I couldn't pronounce or remember the name of. It had shrimp tempura and short rib. They were both delicious. I loved the table set up and the wall of post-it comments. The only thing I would say that wasn't positive was the delay that it took for our server to come to our table considering we were the only 2 people in the restaurant. We will definitely be back and highly recommend giving this place a shot even if it is empty. It's well worth it!

Was going to the Haunted House nearby (Fear Town) and after the 70-minute drive from Boston my girlfriend and I find out it was closed due to storm damage ... Having dinner here not only saved the night but it's hands down a place we will travel back to just for the food. Sushi was fresh, service/hospitality was elite, and the vibe was authentic. This is a place that would be packed if it was anywhere near the Greater Boston Area. You just have to go here to understand...hidden gem of the South Shore.

I'm new to the area and was looking for sushi when I stumbled across this place on yelp. It only had two reviews but from what they said the place was great so I went! To say the least I am more than happy with my experience. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and extremely flavorful!! I also tried one of their teas and they were delicious. Might I add everything was very very reasonably priced, nonetheless the owner William was undoubtedly amazing! Such a cute and friendly restaurant I will definitely be back!!

Yozakura Sushi is a little out of the way but is well worth finding your way to. It's a small space with just a few tables in front and the kitchen in the back of the same large room. The staff were excellent and accommodated some dietary restrictions with care and creativity. The sashimi was wonderful and maki and rolls prepared with delicacy. I had never eaten cold smoked tuna before (think smoked salmon-ish texture but smokier, rolled in light peppery, spicy seasoning and then cut as thick dark pink slices). I'll be going back for more of that. The presentation was also special, with everything beautifully arranged on a rectangle of natural gray slate. A blackboard announced an upcoming Prix Fixe event with a long menu unrelated to sushi so there is more going on here than you might think. We were in a bit of a hurry at our first visit which was a shame. We will definitely be back to take a bit more time at this charming place. You should too!

Let me first start off by saying WOW! Blown away by this experience. Hospitality 10/10. The chef at Yozakura takes good care of his customers and does so with a smile on his face. Ambiance is so cute and quaint. Soft soothing music playing in the background. Cozy and inviting. Food was outstanding! Every appetizer had my tastebuds craving for the next one. The blackberry sorbet was the perfect palette cleanser. On to the main course. The scallops were cooked to perfection, juicy and succulent. But the chicken katsu was the real star of the night. Perfectly crispy outside served on top of a bed of curry rice pilaf. Hands down the best dish I've ever had in this city. Tried to savor every bite. As if that wasn't enough, the experience ended with a decadent chocolate bomb. Chocolate truffle filled with rich ganache and served with a side of coffee caramel ice cream. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic and delightful omakase experience.

My family and I are so happy that we went to the Yozakura for the Studio Ghibli dinner experience. The entire meal was excellent. Everything on the item was so thought out. My 15 year old daughter was thrilled with the Totoro dessert at the end of the meal. Needless to say, we left extremely happy and well fed. We will be coming back to dine again. Thank you for the wonderful experience!
