Stopped by Grandma's Donuts. Very popular donut shop in the area and one of the best. Wife grabbed a dozen donuts to go. The glazed donut is pretty good. Been a customer since the original Ma's.
This is the quintessential old school donut shop experience. Ma's donuts was the donut shop of my childhood. I left the area a long time ago, and on a trip up with my family I was crushed to hear they had closed several years ago. However on this trip we were delighted to hear that the family of the original owners had reopened with a new name. With great anticipation, my daughter and wife got up early and got some donuts.
