This place is great. It has really good food especially for a live music venue. Tons of beers on tap.Vegetarian options: Pretty much just pizza and fried pickles

Went with my son and 4 friends to see show last night. Got there at 5:50. We sat at bar and ordered our food at 6:20. By 7:55 our food still wasn’t out. The band was going on in a few minutes so we cancelled our food order and asked for the bill for the drinks. The bartender was unapologetic and argued with us. We paid for our drinks then went to the guy checking tickets and giving wrist bands. As I’m showing the 6 tickets on my phone my son went to put the wrist ban on himself. The guy slammed his hand down on the ban and stared down my son like he was a tough guy wanting to fight. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. During the show I went back to the bar and ordered a drink. Bartender insisted she didn’t have that kind of bourbon. I pointed to the bottle. She said “Oh that’s too high I will need to get the latter for it and I dont feel like it so what else do you want? I have over 30 years experience seeing live music. This place is by far the worst place I’ve ever been to. The only saving grace was that Draw The Line was tremendous as usual. This is my first and last time at The Vault, and I highly recommend you staying away as well.

Food I do not ever eat at a Hall and pub where we are attending a Show. If I want to eat we go to a real restraunt. Service is well you know your at a Concert/Show they did a decent job of trying to battle the crowd and confusion of a venue where the place is packed and rocking and rolling. As for the venue and show ambiance? We saw Dokken and then on different night and month we saw Slip Kid/Extreme. Dokken first half of show was without George Lynch. The band rocked as they warmed up the crowd and themselves but the guitar Player was trying to had to show off and it see alittle phoney. I know you can play buddy so just rock the ax and act like you done this before. Don Dokken was still the I got a face for Radio Metal Hair band lead man he always has been. Like a cross between Vincent Price and David Lee Roth. He really sounded good and was able to connect with the crowd and you could feel the energy as the night turn to the midnight hour. Then when George hit the stage Dokken turn it up to 10 and blew the crowd away. Hope they return soon as I love the show. Slip Kid was everything you would hope for as a Coverband for the first punk R&B destroy your venue act like THE WHO where back in the late 60's into the 70's electronic Rock and Roll from Who's Next to Who are you. Really as close to the real thing as you ever would see. Fantastic Show and Crowd. EXTREME could make a living off just being their alter ego SLIP KID. Bravo and hope I get fooled again soon by them. Go see Slip Kid and the next chance you get if you never saw THE WHO with Entwistle and Moon. Perfect Venue to see show like the above mentioned 5 out of 5 STARS Bingo Starr "BILL REID"

Vault is located in the heart of downtown New Bedford and keeps the community thriving. Not only do they put on some great shows featuring local bands, the have a bar as well. Always lots of beers on tap and some great canned options from breweries all over New England. Definitely recommend trying the chicken wings. Salted Caramel may not be the flavor profile for everyone, but it sure does make a fantastic wing sauce! Cheers!

The vault is a great venue to watch a band but the security staff were rude my friend was leaning on the rail and the security guard came right next to her and moved the rail and didn't ask her to move. The food used to be really good with great bar food but we went in January 2024 and everything we got was not great. The nachos had hardly any cheese on them and the wings were ok.

I'm not one to pull the racist card. But they only require to check certain black people when they are asking for ID. Me and about 15-17 white buddies did not get carded. One of our black friend showed up later to meet us and they checked and refused them at the door. The doorman are the problem. They are racist and most black people who go there know It and feel It. It's time for a change there.

Very interesting local spot that has dining and bands. It is an over 21 club only.
