My husband is a commercial fisherman who docks his boat in New Bedford. He {was} a subway guy, and I'm not, so when we came up one time, I suggested we try this place...and wow! We only go to this place when we're in town now. Food is always amazing and the bartenders are phenomenal!

I was visiting family & they took me here cause they said that Gene's is that good anymore since they had new owners. I live down South & can't get fried clams( belly & all). I really lived their fried clams & the clam chowder was so tasty that I wish I had a big bowl. My husband loved his fried oyster too. He said that he can taste the ocean.

If you are in Weightwatchers, the rest of your class comes here to destroy any vibe on the weekend. Completely loud and annoying and all stroking the bouncers little bouncers. Definitely not a comfortable atmosphere, can’t see why anyone would want to bring their family or friends!
