10 years proves it. Excellence one can taste. If it's authentic Japanese cuisine made with the freshest ingredients prepared by Master Sushi Chefs you crave, this is it. THE "Go To" for something Special, or just a healthy lunch.

Sushi is $31.99 per person. Good price for all you can eat. However the quality of the food was a bit lackluster. One roll that should’ve had avocado on top had avocado on only two pieces of sushi. They also limit the pieces of sashimi you can order to 5 per person. Furthermore the salmon sashimi was actually still kind of frozen. Overall the sushi was decent. However I would recommend going elsewhere if you’re looking for good quality food. If you’re just looking to fill your stomachs then this place is probably fine. Personally though, I would not recommend or return again.

Parking: Parking is on street and is metered. You likely will need to download an app onto a smart phone to pay for the meter.

I’ve been coming here since I first moved to New Bedford 2 years ago. I had insane sushi cravings while pregnant, and my fiancé prefers a good piece of meat over sushi. But they can accommodate both with their all you can eat. Teriyaki, tempura, lots of sushi rolls friend and not. And now that I have an eating toddler, the nigiri includes egg sushi. Perfect for a protein seeking new eating like my daughter. Lots of dumplings too! It’s byob so I bring my own bottle and it’s great to share amongst a big group. Never once had an issue here. Friendly and child-friendly. Delicious and I leave wobbling.

Kid-friendliness: The servers all love children. We love them too!

Let me start off by saying the food was absolutely delicious. We came for the all you can eat sushi lunch and were not disappointed (BY THE FOOD). Service, however, warrants a 1-star review unfortunately. Our waitress was incredibly cold and rude. We were a party of 5 but only 4 did the all you can eat. It was our first time here so we were unaware of how the all you can eat system worked, so we asked the waitress who had an attitude already for no reason and was not helpful at all. She expected us to know even though we’ve never done this before. When we went to hand her our order, she judged us for the amount we ordered but did not explain what a more reasonable amount would be. The person in our party who did not get all you can eat tried ONE spring roll (we did not realize this was against their rules), and she rushed over to yell at him saying that she saw him and sharing is not allowed and if she saw him doing this again she would charge him for all you can eat. We were completely willing to comply, but she did not have to come at us with that attitude when we literally told her we didn’t know how it worked and she failed to mention this quite important detail in the beginning. Absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. Food was good but we won’t be returning.

We visit every other month or so and they're always consistent with their service and sushi. Kids and I get the all you can eat sushi and wife usually gets the Teriyaki Chicken and thoroughly enjoys it.

However, I must admit, their french fries are quite delicious as well! (as odd as that may sound).

Enjoy!

Mings is a lovely restaurant that offers reliable and tasty sushi at a super reasonable price. On top of that, I am always served quickly and treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I feel very comfortable dining in, and I feel like I am valued by the staff. There's almost no other place in the area that I would recommend for sushi, and definitely nowhere else that wouldn't cost twice the price.
