Went for dinner with my husband a friend we haven't seen in 11 years. Food was amazing and our waitress was great! Loved every minute.

We had a wonderful experience-our waitress was very attentive and the food was brought out hot and was delicious. We both had the short rib plate.

This is my 3rd visit to this restaurant, as I live in the United Kingdom, but frequently visit my good friend that lives here and manages Popes Island Marina near the location. Amazing food and atmosphere, our waitress Cayla went above and beyond on this visit, as we had a very hungy 11 year old boy with us, and made sure his food got served before the adults, also very friendly and forthcoming, gave us family friendly ideas on things to do in the area..also, one thing that is most important to me in a restaurant is cleanliness, especially the restrooms....fantastic all day long, Moby Dicks represents exceptionalism.

Nice casual spot to have an informal dinner. Food and service both very good. The burger was especially good and the salad very nice too.

Stopped in for lunch after visiting the whaling museum. We were seated right away and had a friendly and attentive server. Nice craft brew selection - I had the Inward Delight Octoberfest lager. Very good. For lunch I had the fried cod sandwich, which was excellent, and my wife had the Ahab's Obsession burger, which was a burger patty topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese and many other fixings. It was a beast, and so good. I must mention the French fries which came with the meal -- they were the best fries I have ever had. You must give Moby Dick Brewing Co. a visit. Great food and great beer!!

This restaurant is close to many attractions and history locations. We walked here after visiting some local attractions. The atmosphere is that a a brew pub. Very spacious inside. The food was really good. We especially enjoyed the clam chowder and the scallops wrapped in bacon. The scallops were HUGE. The service was friendly. We felt comfortable and relaxed while eating here. A nice place to visit with each other. The value was moderate. We would visit again.

Great food and beer. The one thing that can kill a business is the people out front. I took my wife out for our 47th anniversary and we were told to try out Moby’s. Like I said food and beer was great. I asked my wife did we do something to make the waitress mad at us. I get along with everyone and never comment on a restaurant. The place wasn’t busy and from the start we didn’t feel welcome. Not once did she ask how we were doing. The other waitress there ask if she could help us out because we couldn’t get ahold of our waitress. When I was ready to pay she just walked by and dropped the credit card and slips on the table and kept walking saying “Thanks for coming” as I was looking at her back.
Customer service as you know will kill a business. My wife said to me that we will not be back. I’m not saying don’t go to Mobys. The food is awesome and the beer was great. Hopefully when she comes into work tomorrow she leaves her problems at the door. Did I mention that the food was awesome.

We have eaen at Moby Dick's several times over the past few years, but I was frankly unimpressed with the menu this past weekend. Very few choices, not imaginative or creative.

Nice lunch at MDB Monday afternoon. Although we had reservations, only a few tables occupied inside (but business was hopping in the street-side area). Our server was welcoming and efficient... drinks arrived quickly, orders taken. I ordered the Brew Pub Tacos with Grilled Shrimp. GREAT! I'll probably be stuck on them now.

We stopped in to get some dinner as we frequently do and noticed a few couples enjoying food outside. We requested to sit outside because it was a nice evening and we were informed that outdoor dinning wasn’t available. I was confused as to why numerous parties were outside with several open tables &
we were unable to do the same … safe to say we will no longer be visiting this establishment.

Stopped in around 5pm today (friday) to grab some drinks on the patio, and was told they didn’t have any open tables. The bar inside was completely full (no chairs left) and the inside of the restaurant was almost empty. So we left to go somewhere else and walked beside the patio only to see that every single table except 3 were empty. So clearly the patio was open, and we got lied to. Rude honestly.

The burrito dorito bowl was truly terrible. Half the bowl was white rice. Although it was supposed to have corn and black beans, there were literally only a couple kernels of corn and less than 5 black beans. The dressing was not salsa-type, but an overly sweet sauce like a barbecue sauce!

It is ok. Beer and food. Food was tasty. Beer was ok. Several staff just sitting around watching us while we waited for the hostess to greet us.
