This is my 3rd visit to this restaurant, as I live in the United Kingdom, but frequently visit my good friend that lives here and manages Popes Island Marina near the location. Stopped in for lunch after visiting the whaling museum. We were seated right away and had a friendly and attentive server. Nice craft brew selection - I had the Inward Delight Octoberfest lager. Very good. For lunch I had the fried cod sandwich, which was excellent, and my wife had the Ahab's Obsession burger, which was a burger patty topped with pulled pork, cheddar cheese and many other fixings. This restaurant is close to many attractions and history locations. We walked here after visiting some local attractions. \n\nThe atmosphere is that a a brew pub. Very spacious inside. \n\nThe food was really good. We especially enjoyed the clam chowder and the scallops wrapped in bacon. The scallops were HUGE. \n\nThe service was friendly. We felt comfortable and relaxed while eating here. A nice place to visit with each other. \n\nThe value was moderate. \n\nWe would visit again.
