I'm a huge Rose Alley Ale House fan. I've been coming since they first opened over 15 years ago. The tops: the wings are. To. Die. For. Hands down. If you don't try some of their wings you're missing out big time. The beer selection- biggest selection in this southcoast area- Entertainment is great- everything from acoustic, to open mic, to full bands Service- to be honest- it's chaotic to say the least. I know the staff all try hard to make sure you have a good meal but 90% of the time the staff are slow to come to the table- and it's always so loud in there it's impossible to hear your dinner mates and the servers. If you're okay with a loud ambiance and fun environment- this is your place There's no parking which is a downer- there's side streets with various parking limitations (resident sticker only etc) this isn't the fault of the pub but helpful to know before you go- you will have to walk a slight distance to find parking. Otherwise it is a must try!!

This is my go-to place in downtown New Bedford. The February Beer Summit is a favorite. The food is good, beer selection is great, and it has a hometown "townie" feel most days and is very energetic and crowded on weekend nights.

Absolutely trash service, the manager STEFAN IS SO DISRESPECTFUL. I asked for a drink and be blatantly looked and me and said no. For no reason , I asked him if he was being serious and he nodded yes. I had just walked in and he denied my services for no reason. Don’t go here unless you want to be disrespected.

Great little bar with friendly staff and tasty food. The wings on the bone were fantastic: well-cooked and hot without searing the tongue. The fish sandwich was also really good! Food came out quickly, and prices were reasonable. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but the interior is classier than the standard pub and we were able to linger over our food without being hustled out after finishing.
Used to be sooo good a couple of years ago. Really went down hill. Chicken tenders/boneless wings are not the same as they used to be, neither are the regular wings when I went a few months ago. The bbq sauce and the “Buffalo sauce” that were on them were soooooo bad. Probably won’t be back, they changed a lot in terms of food.

The rose alley burger is the delicious, The Buffalo chicken egg rolls are delicious. Tonight was my first time ordering (From Grubhub) but oh my gosh... 10/102023 update: Rose alley burger was very good but the bun was soggy, I do think this is due to our door dasher delivering another order before he brought ours. I don’t think that was due to the restaurant, The tenders were okay my boyfriend said some were good and some were really dry. The chowder was the only thing I was upset about, It was $7 on door dash for a “bowl” but it came in such a small container. It was good but I think $7 for that little scoop is steep.Very good restaurant but I’m sure the results are way better in restaurants and not through delivery services.

Small pub with live music and good beer options. Seating is extremely limited, and most tables are outside. Inside has live music occasionally, which is good, but makes holding any conversation difficult since you can't really be more than 15 feet from the musician. Food was decent but had quite large portion sizes. Service was about average, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.
