I walked into Sobre in New Bedford basically at closing time (yes, I was that customer). The machines were already scrubbed down, the kitchen was sparkling, and I was ready to be rejected. Instead, the owner—who deserves a halo and maybe her own Netflix special—still offered to make me a shake. Absolute legend.
Then I grabbed a Tropical Pop: passionfruit, orange & guava, aka a vacation on a stick. She didn’t just hand it over, either—she opened it for me and put on a drip guard like I was a five-year-old at Disney World. I’ve never felt so cared for while eating frozen fruit on a stick.
Shake = amazing. Pop = pure sunshine. Owner = superhero. If Google allowed 6 stars, I’d still ask for 7.
Absolutely delicious! Even if you aren’t vegan or dairy free, the treats are so refreshing and creative. I was vegan for 5 years and never had the chance to try soft serve until today, it beat even normal ice cream. Try the cookie butter shell! Friendly service and a cute shop inside, good prices too :)
I've been here a few times and the ice cream is excellent! I've had a few things and everything was great! Highly recommend! Get the Vacay Bae or the PB and Chocolate parfait!
Decided to try this place and they don't disappoint. The staff was super helpful and friendly. I got a matcha with lavender sweetener. It was incredible. Great prices as well. Check them out.
The popsicles are delicious and Monica is such a gem!! I want to try the whole menu!
We seriously love Sorbae. We go at least once a week. So many yummy options and combinations, especially if you’re dairy-free or gluten-free (me 🙋🏻♀️). The staff is always super friendly and know their stuff. I have way too many favorites to list. The refreshers are also so good — I always get mine with dairy free whipped cream. My husband’s go-to is the strawberry shortcake dipped in chocolate. He doesn’t even look at the menu anymore 😂
I tried several flavors one day at an event. I didn't even realize it was vegan. There were delicious. I loved the chocolate.
Me and my girlfriend came in and the workers were very kind and patient but kept staring at us when we were looking at the menu making us uncomfortable.she answered our questions so I got ice cream with strawberry cream wich tasted pretty good also got ice cream with caramel, and the caramel tasted awfull🤢It tasted just like melted sugar with nothing added and I had to throw it away
Delicious options made with better ingredients. Owned by awesome local people definitely worth checking out!
These guys do not label products that contain serious allergens. When I see them do that I’ll, change my review.
I called to check if their products are made with tree nuts/ nut milks, and they confirmed. I explained that it was not adequately labeled at all. She said I must have missed it, but in fact the menu I looked at said nothing other than the flavors. I had a friend revisit their food truck after I landed in the ER and they confirmed that the sandwich board with the menu did not have any info like “Contains Nuts” or “Cashew milk” or anything. It’s extremely important at a public event to put that info anywhere that lists their products, as those are allergens that can actually kill people. It’s not the same as a restaurant, people aren’t looking at every sign on your truck, and if you’re serving at an event, it HAS to say “CONTAINS NUTS”.

The Bae Buns are delicious and everything is vegan. Amazing! We love it here! New favorite spot!
Delcious and healthy alternative to ice cream ! Dairy free and gluten free options 10/10
This place is seriously the best. Monica is super awesome and her creations are out of this world! Everyone needs Sorbae in their lives!!
The owner Monica and I collaborated on a kids day event and it was absolutely flawless! Everyone loved her frozen treats, kids and adults alike. I am the owner and executive chef of pianta in providence and monica was an absolute joy to work with, even contributing to my current visionaries of the year campaign with the leukemia and lymphoma society only a few minutes after meeting her. also, as a chef, i truly appreciate the texture of her bars, they offer a slight creaminess you certainly wont find in any traditional popsicle, while still holding shape and being icy enough to endure the summer heat. her concept is brilliant and she is lovely!!!
Dietary restrictions: All vegan GREAT!!!!! delicious and made with good ingredients. Service is wonderful and friendly
