It’s all so delicious, the food is amazing.

Every time I am in town for work I make sure to stop here for dinner. Their fried tofu is the best I have ever tried along with the dipping peanut sauce that accompanies it. I don't think that they do indoor seating and it's more of a to go type of place. I def recommend the fried tofu (obviously) and their Pad Thai!

First time eating here. I thought the drunken noodles were good, but they could use a little more of a stronger sauce. The crab Rangoon were delicious and the rainbow chicken could have used stronger flavor as well.
Very light on flavor but good.

BEST place in New Bedford for some good Thai food. My favorite since I was 17! Recommend for sure!

I had gotten a delivery order and the food was some of the worst Thai food I have ever tasted.

I had ordered the Drunken noodles and veggie tempura. The veggie tempura was way over done and swimming in oil. The noodles were absolutely bland. I could barely get through them. I had to add Sriracha and lime juice just so I could get through some of the portion. I will not be returning and I feel like I wasted $30.

First time Last Time! As a chef, I don’t usually order out or eat out. But i was enjoying a lazy day, and decided to order from Spicy Lime since I love Asian cuisine and leave that for when I do eat out. . So I Chose something that I thought would be very delicious, but was quite disappointed. I ordered the Volcano Duck and the Hot and Sour soup. First of all although the soup was very good , it wasn’t very sour. (Have had much better) . The Volcano Duck was far from being “volcanic”, as it was quite bland and lacking flavor as also lacking in duck with only a few, small pieces among the soggy vegetables, all swimming in far too much sauce. Hardly worth the $28.50 price tag. As I searched for it I couldn’t help remembering that old Wendy’s commercial….Where’s the Duck?? All in all it was a bit of a disappointing experience and also my last time that I will order from Spicy Lime.

It’s a curry but very watery veggies are overcooked no flavor no spice , chicken is pre cooked and added later, it’s like chewy no taste of chicken at all . it’s just you drinking green colored soupy thicker water no salt , way they cooked this food no heart no hard work no need to tell more waste of time and money !!!!!!!

Absolutely my favorite place for papaya salad. Most other places make it so hot it’s hard to eat, at least for my taste buds. With their dish the flavors of the papaya, veggies , peanuts and lime shine through. I’ve also enjoyed the other selections I’ve tried. The yellow curry and pineapple fried rice were excellent. Highly recommended!

The most authentic and delicious Thai food prepared with care in the heart of historic downtown New Bedford. Don't skip the crab rangoon, fresh rolls, tom kha soup or drunken noodles. Favorite stir fry: Chicken Spicy

Love the green curry with tofu. I asked to be spicy so they gave me an extra red sauce. It was ok though. The rice had a nice flavour. And the portion of the curry is very full filling. I am very happy for that.It is a shame you can’t dine-in yet, just take out or delivery.

The food is delicious in general and definitely the best Thai in the area. My only complaint is I found a couple of the dishes to be hit or miss but once you find your favorites, there’s no going back. We love the Thai lettuce wraps, crying beef, basil fried rice, papaya salad, crispy chicken, and lime rickey drink. I’ve been disappointed with the soups and pad Thai on several occasions so we avoid those now, but overall it’s great and we order from here constantly

Hands down, some of the best Thai food on the South Coast. Awesome flavors in everything I’ve tried. Very generous with the portions and they don’t skimp on the protein and vegetables. They’re take-out only since COVID, so worth knowing that ahead of time. Facebook has the most updated menu. A great part of the downtown New Bedford restaurant scene!

Spicy Lime in Downtown New Bedford is truly a gem among Thai restaurants. Every visit here feels like a culinary adventure, and I can't help but sing praises for this place. The first thing that strikes you at Spicy Lime is the freshness of their ingredients. Whether it's the vibrant herbs or the perfectly seasoned proteins, their commitment to using the finest and freshest ingredients is evident in every dish. It's reassuring to know that what you see on the menu is exactly what you get. What makes this restaurant even more special is that it's a family affair. Run by a mother and her family, you can feel the love and dedication in every bite. The personal touch in their service is heartwarming, making you feel like you're dining at a friend's home rather than a restaurant. One remarkable highlight for me is how accommodating they are to allergies. It can be challenging to find places that truly understand and cater to dietary restrictions, but at Spicy Lime, they go the extra mile to ensure a safe and delicious dining experience for everyone. In summary, Spicy Lime is a beacon of authenticity and hospitality in Downtown New Bedford.
