This experience was not like the previous ownership. There was a stark difference in freshness of bakery items. The donuts were dry and stale (honey drizzle) and definitely not made fresh, more like day old. The natas were soggy and chewy. Very disappointing as this was once my go to. I would have been embarrassed had I bought donuts for family or coworkers and they were like what I received today. Probably won’t return. Head of Westport has great, fresh donuts.
Just so others know- we just left… the linguica cheese rolls were EXACTLY the same! The cheese was smothered all over the plentiful linguica! The donuts are similar to what they use to be, but we miss the cruellers- but the Boston Cream is delish! The coffee- well I miss how they use to brew French Vanilla themselves, and they need to critique the cream ratios BUT otherwise was fine. Opening’s are hard, have a little faith and stop by and try it out to support them!
Was better before the business sold.

You need to wear gloves when touching food;
The cheese sandwiches smell like men's perfume every day, it's sickening, it takes away the flavor of the food...
Whoever has the right to draw attention to employees, please.
Thank you for your attention and understanding.
Thanks
Love this place they have the best pops but their pastries are ridiculously high priced

Decided to try Sunrise again after previous bad experience.
. Ordered a dozen pops, they were pre packed asked if they are fresh from today. I Was told yes, we don’t sell old bread. As I was walking out other patrons said they were waiting because they had no fresh pops.
I also got pop with Sr. Jorge cheese. After getting home, pop was hard and stale ended up throwing it out.
So sad, used to be an upstanding establishment.

Great corner Portuguese Bakery.
Parking: They're located on a small corner street, so parking can be difficult if you don't want to walk a little bit, but don't let that stop you from going. The food is very good.

We had a great experience this morning. We bought linguisa pops, meat pie, and cannoli. They were all delicious. We were chasing a childhood memory growing up visiting the South end.
Parking: Easy to park with a park across the street.
