Everything was great except the chowder wasn't hot. We told the waitress it was fine and not to send it back but it should be hot. She took it off the bill which was extremely generous. Black Whale is always the best.

If you're looking for seafood, we guess this is the place. In our party everyone was satisfied with their seafood. However, we had a vegetarian in our party too, and for him it was a total bust. There wasn't even a vegetarian entrée on the menu. The chef threw something together, which was appreciated but not all that interesting. As a result, the rest of us were less than satisfied with the meal. It's 2025. Would it be so hard to offer more vegetarian options?

Hubby and I celebrated an anniversary dinner here. The food was delicious and our server was thorough. I had the pan seared scallops and we shared the boom boom shrimp app. Both were cooked well and flavorful. We will return, but maybe not for a date night. The atmosphere was very loud and crowded. Hard for conversation without yelling across the table.
The food was delicious; we had calamari and sushi. Molly, our server, was wonderful! But unfortunately, due to the size of the room and the noise level, conversation was quite difficult. We would go back though!
