We had been here a year or so and it was great...not anymore. The french fries were the frozen skinny kind. The portuguese steak had no flavor and it was chewy. So disappointed will not return. Not sure whos cooking here but things have slid downhill.

SOOOO THOROUGHLY disappointed in our most recent experience at The Roasted Pig. We went to dinner last night and arrived at 7. The floor was super sticky, almost as if it had beer spilled all over ot and someone forgot to clean the floor.. We ordered rotisserie chicken and Carne De Espeto (WELL DONE)... we were told the chicken would be 45 minutes. Our dinners came to us at 8:20. 1 hour and 20 minutes is NOT 45. The Carne de Espeto was RED and dripping. I asked for it well done.. so they took it back to re-grill. When it came back, it was STILL FAR TOO PINK for my liking (I can eat it medium, but rare makes me gag). The server apologized and I said I'd just cook it at home... When we got the bill it was $119 BEFORE tip. My kid had gotten Pepsi, with a TON of ice... and asked for a refill. Well, apparently refills aren't a thing. We got charged $10.50 for his soda. There was no compensation for the food I wasn't eating and they never even offered to fix it or bring me something else. said and done I paid $145 to not even eat my dinner. I will likely never return here of my own accord, which is awful because until last night, I would literally say they were my favorite restaurant. I don't know whats happened to make it so crappy but thr food was bland in flavor and not prepared to our order... I could also complain about the blandness of the rice, potatoes and broccoli...

Her unique professionalism and customer service made my first visit to this restaurante the most enjoyable time I’ve ever had in the food industry. We have always dined with roasted pig but noticed the last few visits the food has been different. We decided to order desert take out anyway and on the menu the deserts looked quality and delicious. We asked if the cheesecake was enough for 2 and were promised it was. When we got the cheesecake it tasted dry, old and like cardboard and looks like a cheap piece of Walmart cheesecake. We called and spoke to the manager and he was extremely defensive and rude, would not issue a refund mind you one tiny piece of cheesecake is $9. He was not friendly and ended up hanging up on me. Will never be back to this restaurant.

The service was just okay. I’ve experienced so much better elsewhere. Whatever you do, do not eat the scallops or anything Mozambique style. 20 minutes after leaving there, I felt deathly ill and vomited profusely. When I called to tell them about it, they were dismissive and hung up the phone. Spend your money somewhere else!!!! 0 stars on the food!!!

The manager with the blonde hair is unbelievably rude and for that reason I will never return it felt like me and my family eating there was an inconvenience to her! She has a nasty attitude it’s sad too because the food there is really good hopefully they hire better people !

I live in the area and have grown up eating Portuguese food. My girlfriend and I went here early on a Saturday night 5pm. There were only two or three tables full. We were asked if we had a reservation, as if we needed one. We did not need one, the place was almost empty. The food was bad, my girlfriends steak tips looked microwaved. I am pretty sure they were, I know my rice was microwaved in plastic 🙃. The french fries, bread, and soda was the best food. There were about 5 or 6 wait staff. They were sampling wine. It took far too long every time we asked for anything. I really don't want to tell a long story full of complaints. The service wasn't great. I feel like they treated us worse because we weren't regulars and the food was horrible. If you want great Portuguese food go to another great place in New Bedford or Fall River. Not this place. I remember them being good years ago.
