We stopped in for drinks and apps and were impressed with the food—the little necks and mozzarella sticks were excellent, and the espresso martini flight was spot-on.

That said, we prefer bar seating and figured a place called “Top Shelf Bar” would shine in the bar experience. Alas, not. It was surprising to walk in and see young children at the bar, taking up seats I assumed would be reserved for adults ordering top-shelf cocktails. We raised it with both the host and our server—both shrugged it off. If it’s a family-style setup, that’s totally fine—just tell people upfront so they can decide if it’s the vibe they want.

Once seated at a table, service started out promising. But after my first drink, no one ever checked back for a second round. They didn’t have Woodford Reserve for my Manhattan—which was fine—but again, for a place called “Top Shelf,” it felt off.

The real letdown—and the reason for only 3 stars—is that my glass sat empty the entire appetizer course, and no one returned until we had stacked our plates to signal we were done. We had planned to stay for dinner and try the lemon martini flight, but instead, we left disappointed and thirsty. I ended up getting two more rounds at another bar.

Great food, solid cocktails—but not the place to go if you're expecting a true bar experience.

Bellied up to the bar for a lunch and was impressed by the prompt service as well as the great looking renovations. The place is clean, bright, and friendly. The menu has quite the choice of meals available so there is plenty to try. I had the crispy buffalo chicken sandwhich with fries and it was delicious. The couple next to me had the pasta special and stuffed salmon which looked fantastic and smelled great. Definitely going to have to come back and try more.

Came in for dinner with my husband / first time here waitress was really nice and attentive to us there was a bit of a wait but well worth it .😊

I have been coming here for almost 10 years and still love it! Food is always good and consistent. The staff is very welcoming and Heather will always make sure you have an enjoyable, personal experience. She gets to know her customers and takes care of them. Always smiling faces! :)

One of my all-time favorite spots in my hometown, an easy 10/10! The Portuguese Steak is my go-to dish, and it never disappoints. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend checking it out!

Amanda was great! Super friendly and attentive, haven’t been to Top Shelf in a bit, really sad to hear Brittany is no longer there, she was one of our favorites and loved her drinks. Overall good experience.

Came with a party of 4 and we were all very satisfied garlic chicken pizza👍 bifana sandwich 👍 chicken Caesar wrap and a side of Mac and cheese 👍 and top shelf salad with grilled chicken 👍 all the food was delicious, sorry for no pics but we were all super hungry. The best part was our waitress Jackie! She’s super friendly very attentive and always remembers us when we go in!!

I can't recommend this restaurant enough. From the amazing food to the great atmosphere, this is the place to be! The service is equally as fantastic. Sophia has always gone above and beyond to provide the best service possible! You must visit her during your next dining experience!

we love top shelf. My husband and I go at least once a week. The food is always great . We especially love the martini flights. The service is always excellent and Jackie is always amazing and so is the rest of the staff .
