Ordered online, went inside and didn't see the order ready. Waited a little bit and then asked about my order. The owner was working with about 10 other employees. The owner didn't see my order and asked if I had the right location. I had shown her the confirmation. It wasn't until the assistant manager (I presume) asked the name on the order and found the smoothies on a shelf above the blenders. When the owner gave them to me they were very liquidy. I mentioned that to her and she seemed irritated that I mentioned it and asked for remakes. (It was about 20 min by now). She did tell her staff to remake them. Once remade she handed them to me. No offer of an apology. Once in the car, we realized they didn't add the yogurt to 1 of the smoothies. I didn't go back in because the entire prices and interaction was terrible. Will not be returning to the New Bedford location.

Waiting on the smoothie, I watch this lady drop the cup on the floor then proceed to try and use it for my drink then when I asked politely if she'd use a new cup got a half assed attitude for the inconvenience of getting a new cup. Followed by a watery smoothie, ohh and a 20 min wait...... Great birthday smoothie

Every time I come here the food and smoothies are so good! I don’t know what they do differently here but it’s just so good! Amber took our order and she was so sweet and thoughtful and so was everyone there tonight

I got the thai chicken salad and there was BARELY any chicken on it :/ disappointing but the green smoothie was good so that made up for it. Just wish they put more effort into their food as it would be perfect if they did!

Love the food unfortunately-the crew doesn’t label the wraps when u order a few wraps-Sounds not picky but u literally have to brake into every wrap to figure out the ingredients.

This Tropical Smoothie location is one of the ONLY healthier fast casual options in the north end, and it’s always busy because of that fact. Folks complaining in other reviews have obviously never made a smoothie before, preparing the food takes time, because it’s actually made with real ingredients. The service and food have always been good and consistent. Most of the employees have also been there for a long time, which really describes how this place is being managed correctly. The secret is to order on the mobile app. Never do the drive thru because you never know if a minivan mom is going to be in front of you with a 5 smoothie order with 3 orders of food, and then expects the food to come out in less than 2 minutes.Prices have gone up, but they are very consistent with other fast casual places in the area. The most annoying part about Tropical Smoothie is that they use styrafoam cups for their smoothies, that’s more of a corporate (they are based in the South) issue rather than a franchise issue, so I am not going to fault them for that.

First time going here because I had a stomach bug and wanted to have a nice smoothie and yogurt bowl as it was the only thing I could really eat. Well, over $60 spent on the takeout order. There were no straws or spoons included. We got home, and the bag exploded, and both bowls hit the floor. Awful service. Will not be going back.

Good food. Shiddy attitude .

food is heavily mediocre. they dont have many options, the only thing worth getting are the smoothies which are good and the chicken quesadillas but the size of it is very small. they are very overpriced for what they give, n they’re food is canned. there are so many family owned businesses that are less money and give better quality. i got a yogurt bowl and it had pineapple in it, it was canned and tasted horrible. same with the yogurt it tastes like tart and was bad or something. the jerk chicken wrap is okay if you remove the pineapple salsa, it taste horrendous and does not mix at all with the rest of the wrap. the wraps are decent in size and the buffalo wrap is good.
