A quaint little breakfast joint right across from the beach on Plum Island. Filled with regulars and visitors, it might be hard to get a seat.Your patience will be rewarded as they are some of the nicest folks I’ve met in a long time, with great coffee, service, and food. They really make you feel at home.We look forward to our next visit there.Dietary restrictions: I was happy to see they had a few gluten free options and were ready to answer any questions that I had.

This is a hidden gem on Plum Island. Staff goes out of their way to immediately feel welcomed and my friend, who is vegan got a wonderful option which he said, “was delicious.” The pancakes and breakfast burrito were superb. Pancakes were large and fluffy and burrito wrap was crisp and no soggy. Everything was 100%.

I am obsessed with this place! Owners Kyree & Kendall have something beautiful here at this spot. The food is beyond what you’d expect from any breakfast & lunch spot. The flavor of their corn beef hash is second to none. The French toast was definitely worth taking home what I just couldn’t finish at the counter- I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Visit early, be prepared to wait (it’s worth it!) and get ready to enjoy the experience!

Best damn brunch I’ve had! Bolo sandwiches are new to me and that was incredible and I’ve never had good corned beef until now. BYOB is clutch. Special was an apple crisp pancake and I can’t believe how amazing that was. 12/10 stars for this place please come try them out! Shrimp burrito took the cake though! Wanted to take pics but didn’t think about it until it was too late. Cheers!

An absolute MUST when visiting PI!! Not a bad thing on the menu! Can't wait for next year's annual visit :)

If you're in Newburyport, I highly recommend breakfast at Mad Martha's! Do note they have a weird schedule so definitely call ahead to ensure they're open. It's a small and adorable little breakfast shack located on scenic plum island. There is a bar with maybe 8 stools and 7 or so tables. You may have to wait a bit so be prepared!! The food is a 10/10 as always. What we got: - corned beef hash and eggs - homemade and delish!!! Must get. - carmelized banana French toast - will give your sweet tooth a run for it's money! - also their hash browns are out of this world. Definitely go here and enjoy an amazing breakfast! I'll be back!!!

We visited Mad Martha's this past weekend and have to say the place is simply a great spot for breakfast. Friendly staff, fun atmosphere and well worth the wait with a cup of coffee hanging outside. If you not sure what to get, the menu and the specials board present some enticing choices, ask one of the regulars. I did, and was told the Hash n' eggs with the horseradish aioli is really good. And was it ever! We'll be back.
