“We got our first loaf of this bread yesterday from tender crop farm. The man who was advertising this bread was very informative and helpful when we picked our perfect loaf. He was very proud of this company and his wife! He spoke so highly of her and was excited to show off her picture on the top of the bread shelf. Today we grilled the bread, my daughter had hers with Nutella and i had mine with eggs over easy. DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend. We will try sour dough next!”

“I went to the Rusty can for the first time and the staff was friendly and very pleasant. we ordered the brisket sub and taco and Caesar salad. it was very very tasteful The fresh seasonings were on point. we laughed and had a great time I highly recommend this little hole in the wall”

“As the inventor of the fried clam, this place destroyed almost all other places that sell fried clams.
The fried clams that I had here yesterday were the best that I ever had! The slaw was good too.
This place is huge and is able to handle large crowds.
There are two separate lines/counters for beverages vs food. There are free drink refills on the fountain drinks.
The staff here does a great job.
I am thankful that I learned of this place and was able to go here.
They offer ice cream, but it is seasonal.
I really do need to reassess my prior fried clam restaurant choices…

“Stopped at Essex Seafood, for the first time, yesterday. I can’t say enough good things about it! The building, inside and out, is immaculate! Once you get inside, the help is courteous and kind! “Great Pizza! I was in your shop on Saturday, 29 Oct. This is what I have been searching for. The pizza reminds me of what I used to get in the 1940's and 1950's at pizzerias and barrooms. Thin, with the cheese and tomato spread right up to the edges. Almost foldable but not stiff. The flavor is satisfying and peaceful with a cold drink. The staff was extremely polite and accommodated me with a spaghetti sauce that was not on the menu. Judging from the continuous phone calls and pick-up orders, a lot of people have already discovered you and share my taste . Keep doing the Good pizzas. What a taste! When you've ordered tastey pizza, you know it at the first bite.”

“Five stars obsession for the oatmeal whoopie pie! Wow! Best I’ve ever had. Crispy yet doughy and chewy oatmeal cookie, with this soft whipped vanilla cream. Perfect beyond. Also had the roast beef special sandwich with a beet sauce, which didn’t have that bloody, fatty roast beef taste so would try a different sandwich. But that whoopie pie! Would come back for that and more baked goods. Loved the idyllic outdoor seating on the sidewalk and overall welcoming warmth of the place.

“This is my new favorite place. The chef really knows what hes doing.
The kimchi rueban is out of this world. Or if you like salmon you have to try the crunchy salmon with lentil hash and rice.

The whole staff was welcoming and attentive.
