14 for a Birthday Dinner, catered last night. Just exceptional food and service; meal delivered from amuse bouche to Peach Pies. Outstanding!!!
Great spot with the best burgers in Newburyport!
First time. Heard lots of great things about this place...and it lived up to the hype!! We all left saying, why did it take us this long to go. I can't stop thinking about my artichoke and roasted beet sandwich. Bloody Mary was delicious also. My son and husband loved their shakes and burgers 🍔

The cauliflower tacos are fabulous and hard to finish, with fries, onion rings, or salad as sides. They also have milkshakes—boozy or not—and very good cappuccinos. The restaurant pays its staff fair wages and does not have a tipping policy, making it a refreshing change from the norm. The Cormorant is a great spot for a family date night or a casual meal out, with parking around back and wheelchair accessibility. It’s a cute place that feels like an old-fashioned soda fountain. The menu combines new and old in a meaningful and delicious way, with a varied and constantly changing selection of food to choose from and enjoy. The fried cauliflower po'boy was a delicious vegetarian take on the New Orleans classic. The Black & Blue Double Stack burger was cooked perfectly and incredibly juicy. The option to get a side salad with homemade dressing is a nice lighter option. The Cormorant is a hidden gem, a small, welcoming hamburger joint that impressed. One of the owners personally greeted guests, sat them, brought water, and took the time to explain the specials and menu items, giving the whole experience a warm, personal touch. The pork belly smash burger was outstanding, and the fries are really good too.
