Great choice for a pleasant evening in Newburyport. We sat at a table right next to the open windows and enjoyed the street scenes. Great staff - friendly and knowledgeable. The oysters were great. I felt a bit guilty eating chicken schnitzel at a fish place, but it was fantastic. It was my wife's birthday so they brought a couple of macarons out with a birthday candle - very nice of them. Oh yeh, the cocktails were good also. I would definitely go back there.
We have dined at Brine many times and had wonderful experiences. Last night the experience was diminished by the service. The seafood is always the star of the show, but last night our server failed to tell us about nightly specials, what seafood was sold out and generally seemed uninformed on basic restaurant courtesy. Stellar food really not showcased by the waitstaff....next visit we'll be more attentive to our seating.
La comida fué deliciosa! Ostras en su concha, sopa de ostras con chorizo , caviar, pulpo y de postre pudin de pan con helado, capuchino.El servicio muy rápido y preciso , las meseras sonrientes y muy profesionales. Excelente limpieza. El precio es el justo para la buena calidad de los productos. Perfecto todo.
