This is absolutely the BEST pizza in Newburyport and the owner is personable and the pizzas are made to order and delicious. He has a great business model. We keep going back.

Wow! Congratulations to the owners/staff: they have perfected the pizza. Perfect crust, cheese and sauce. My picky 9 year old was blown away by their pizza (Italian and her dad is from NY)…no small feat! $ Cash only (atm nearby at The Black Duck), available until they sell out. Get it while you can! :)

Deeeeeelicious! We ordered ahead and thank goodness we did as they sold out by 5pm! The pepperoni had a bit of spice and was yum. The base was extraordinary. The pizzas heated really well in the oven. Such a treat.

Perfect pizza for any age and any occasion. Epicureo Pizza in Newburyport, MA — what an absolute gem! Today we had a daytime reunion with awesome friends (6 adults, 3 kids) and planned for a park picnic. Once noon rolled around, the craving for pizza hit hard. Epicureo it is!

The pizzas were a massive hit with everyone in our group. Kiddos and grownups loved it! I wish we had a photo of the actual pies, but we devoured them so fast there wasn’t a chance! : ) We ordered 4 out of the 5 offerings on today’s menu—(those pics attached) and honestly, we should’ve just gotten all five. Every bite was perfection.

Saturday’s (4/19/25) specials included The Limon’—a chef’s kiss, zesty and packed with flavor—and also the 'Cacio e Pepe alla Vodka'—touch of rich, comforting, and absolutely delicious. For all the pizzas: the crust, Outstanding. Perfectly crisp undercarriage, clean ingredients, fresh mozzarella (read in your best Italian accent: muuttzzarella!), and all balanced proportions throughout. Menu options seem to rotate weekly with some staples, but trust—whatever they’re serving, you'll be super pleased and you’ll be grabbing another slice before you're finished with your first!

I originally walked in with a plan—three pizzas in mind. Curveball: two of them weren’t available. Without hesitation, I trusted the chef, the staff, the energy, the ambiance, and said “Let’s go with these four instead.” Best decision I could’ve made. Zero regrets. Total flavor win.

The team at Epicureo is so friendly, kind, and enthusiastic. From the customer service to the vibe to the food—it was a 5-star experience through and through. First time here, definitely not be my last.

Bonus tip: while you wait (only about 20 minutes for four pizzas!), head next door (literally 5-walking strides away) to Jabberwocky Bookstore—established in 1972! Hands-down one of the best bookstores I’ve ever stepped into. I got lost in there... twice! Super friendly staff there too.

And note: the Tannery Marketplace parking can fill up quickly, and this pizza haven is tucked inside the charming maze of the Tannery. But trust me, it’s worth the mini-adventure. (The whole place is a mecca of small business magic.)

This gem stands as arguably the finest pizzeria in all of Massachusetts. My first visit tonight with my daughter exceeded every expectation - from the exceptional food to the remarkable hospitality. I've found my new regular spot and can't wait to become a familiar face at what is undoubtedly the area's premier pizza destination

Delicious everytime! The sauce is the best (sorry mom). Whether it is the special, cheese, margherita, or pepperoni (which I don’t typically like), they are all amazing.
Tony & team are friendly, fun and made sure we could travel 3 hours with it to enjoy for a ski weekend!

The Tannery in Newburyport is a gem with fabulous shops, along with the best pizza in the area, Epicureo!! We ordered the garlic and herb white pizza, which is pure perfection!!! You can taste the magnificent blend of herbs with just the right amount of garlic with the best cheese blend I have ever tasted 😋

Chef got great artisan skills to be able to make every pizza perfectly thin and crispy every time. Cheese pizza was perfectly done. Great cheese and sweet tomato sauce which I like. Cash only and have to order in person and wait so they can make it right there. It was a 15-20mins wait but so worth it. It wasn’t long of a wait since I was able to stroll around the tannery and explore other businesses nearby. Great experience. Wished we can order ahead through phone. 20$ cheese pizza.
