Nothing gets better than a husband & wife team cooking za. I’m telling you, you can taste the freshness of these ingredients.

Very happy I stumbled upon this place via Instagram earlier this year. Ever since we decided to do an Eastern US seaside trip, this place was on our “must try” list.

We came early on July 3rd and saw a few people already waiting for pizzas. Only 10 minutes after opening, seeing that level of response is awesome.

Quick side note: the husband and wife talk regularly with their customers and ask them how they are doing and check in on how life is. If you’re a regular, they will know and will treat you like family.

Great staff, great pizza and great vibes all the way around.

Cannot wait to see their story grow for years to come.

The pizza itself? Phenomenal. Great crust, unforgettable sauce and a good amount of cheese that not parm or red peppers were needed.

My wife and I devoured the pizza. No words were spoken when eating. Just head nods of approval and continue to eat.

What a great pie and a great memory.

Also this pie was only $21. I felt I was borderline ripping them off. The quality of the dough and ingredients felt much more than $21. Great deal!

We Googled this place on a whim and decided to try it since it is highly rated. We were absolutely blown away by how tasty the four cheese pizza was. I know they offer a few different well-liked choices, but this pie was our all time favorite. The shop is quaint, inviting and the staff are friendly. Located in the tannery marketplace right outside downtown Newburyport this place offers next level pizza!

Excellent pizza for $25. We got the special: crumbled Italian sausage with red onions agrodolce, mozzarella, and red sauce. Great balance of flavors. Crust was perfectly crispy, thin, and not oily. Also relatively quick, made to order in 15 minutes. Highly recommend!

A friend of mine had been telling me for a while that I had to try this pizza spot. It took some time to line up my schedule with their hours, but let me tell you: it was absolutely worth the wait.

I love pizza. I don’t say that lightly. And hands-down, this is a 10+.

I brought home tow pizzas because I cooks t decide. Their traditional four cheese pizza was delicious! The homemade dough is everything you want it to be: perfectly chewy on the inside with that irresistible crisp on the outside. The sauce-to-cheese ratio? Spot on. Simple, classic, done right.
But then… the specialty vodka sauce chicken supreme pizza… Holy. Smokes. This was, without question, the most delicious, amazing pizza I have ever had. The vodka sauce was perfecto — rich and bursting with flavor without overpowering the rest of the pie. The chicken pieces were cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and paired with just the right amount of cheese to make every bite unforgettable. Every slice felt like a masterpiece.
I genuinely wish this wasn’t just a specialty pizza — it deserves a permanent place on the menu. It’s that good.
Bottom line: if you’re even remotely considering trying this place, stop thinking and just go. Adjust your schedule if you have to. It’s worth it. 🍕🔥

Some of the best pizza I’ve had in the area lives right here in this converted Tannery turned Mall in Newburyport. Great crisp great flavor great cook on the cheese. The people that work behind the counter are very friendly as well, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Saw a recommendation for Epicureo online and never had heard of them. So I visited the Tannery for the first time. What a great building. Pizza was excellent. Crust is as good as any crust you'll find. Perfect doneness. I ordered at the counter and had a hot perfect pizza within 15 minutes. $25 for the weekly special pizza is a little pricey but you can tell youre paying for quality ingredients and some real love goes into the making of this pizza. Well worth it

Wow! Congratulations to the owners/staff: they have perfected the pizza. Perfect crust, cheese and sauce. My picky 9 year old was blown away by their pizza (Italian and her dad is from NY)…no small feat! $ Cash only (atm nearby at The Black Duck), available until they sell out. Get it while you can! :)
