SALT Patisserie in Newtown is a hidden gem. Their pastries are beautiful and delicious. I tried an almond croissant, and I fell in love after my first bite. It’s very flaky with a roasted almond aroma. Definitely worth getting a box of a variety to enjoy!

Croissants were overly buttery and flaky — not good at all. The coffee was cold and tasted stale. Most importantly, the place was absolutely disgusting. There were small flies buzzing around and landing on the food inside the display cases. I couldn’t even enjoy a proper bite or drink because they were all over me while I was sitting inside. I’m honestly not sure how this place is operating — it feels extremely unsanitary. I will never be back again.

Ridiculously good pastry and beverages!!! I hesitate to give it such a good review because I fear it will become TOO popular and there is limited seating - but I have to be truthful. Everything I try there is delicious and often still warm because it's so fresh: croissants, muffins, quiche, cookies, hot chocolate, and on and on. The staff there is personable and professional too.

Everytime we visit our parents, we visit Salt Patisserie for their amazing work of art. Delicious as always.
Had a smocked salmon sandwich and a slice of a black forest cake. The food was amazing and great service, but not enough seating space. You should come early to be able to eat in.

Overall, my experience with the foods was good, but the service I was getting was barely 2 stars worthy. There were so many employees- it looked chaotic. No communications between the wotkers- they looked confused and lost. I asked for a bag and a cup holder, and no one bothered to get them for me. They completely ignored me - it wasn't busy, and some of them were just staring. One of the girls had a expression of a bitched face
