I usually love Besito and recommend it to everyone that I know! However, I went here last night for my birthday and was very excited to share the guac with my friends, but they informed me that they were all out of guac. I was extremely disappointed, as I always look forward to getting the guac when I visit. I found this to be unacceptable, and I did not understand why they couldn't run out and get some avocados at the store to make it through the rest of the night. I was very upset and hope that they have all ingredients next time I visit.

I went here for Father's Day with my family, and it fabulous! The place is neatly tucked at the shops in Chestnut Hill Marketplace. It has a beautiful ambiance inside and outside, and played some great music. The servers and host were very kind and attentive. And on top of that the food was delicious! By far, the star of the show was the Sonora Ribs, they were PERFECT! Others got the skillets, and fish tacos, and everyone enjoyed their food, and noted that it was very well flavored. The only negative I would say is that it does take some time to get your food after ordering, but I certainly don't think that is that much of a negative in light of the atmosphere, and the quality of the food that comes out. 10/10 would recommend!

good experience! Have only been to the besito on long island in the past. Gave the MA location a try and it was very good! the food was good as usual. our server was great but it was very slow. Likely because he was busy, which is understandable especially since places are getting back to normal with covid. Hopefully next time the service is a bit quicker but other than that the watermelon margarita is to die for! and the crispy shrimp tacos are fabulous.

Besito's cuisine is great, but not so much for customer service of non-white patrons. During my last visit, they chose to seat myself and party in a separate area away from other white patrons. It was conspicuous as the hostess never attempted to seat those who arrived after we were seated in our area, next to the restrooms and the door for outside dining. Unconscionable for such a fine dining establishment, operated by folks of color - Mexicans, but lol, maybe they do consider themselves other, as a means of over ingratiating themselves to well-heeled Chestnut Hill types.

We love Mexican food and we live on the cape are choices are limited and the food is O ok. My son lives in Brookline and we try to find new places to eat when we visit and being his 30th birthday they made it a great day with a great meal. Thank you The Daunais Family

I really love this place and that it's so close to my house! Every time I come they never disappoint. I usually get the street corn as well as the quesadilla or chicken tacos. Everything is always fresh and taste amazing. Also the chips and salsa is amazing!!!!!!! They also offer curbside pickup which is great due to parking always being busy at the mall.

All the staff was great, they were knowledgeable and helpful about my food allergies and made sure I was well taken care of. The food was delicious and the drinks were even better.

Mexican food must taste like Mexican food, even when the restaurant is located in an upscale mall charging upscale prices. The service, atmosphere were lovely, as were the complimentary chips and a tiny bit of salsa that preceded the meal. In the age of Covid-19, I could even overlook the $13.00+ for guacamole made to order as opposed to made at the table for $10.00 just a couple of years ago. The lunch meal itself, however, had no discernible seasoning such that the black beans tasted like they came from can to table--with topped with white cheese. These were for a table of three, so when the lunch arrived, the three full-sized crispy corn tortilla fish tacos of my imagination turned out to be three street sized wet corn tortillas with cold fish totally without taste for $17.00. Let me be clear that it was not the cost, but the lack of taste-not even enough to say they were really good or wretched--just blah. Since this was my second visit to Besitos, I hoped it would have improved over time. But it was more like "gringo" than Mexican food, still.

Not the typical Best experience. Server was polite, but service overall was lacking. Food as good as it always is. Not sure as things become a little more crowded, whether or not it's impacted staffing at all. Didn't seem like the usual number of people supporting the dining room floor

Even though the menu is now limited I trust this will end soon. The food is very good, but the last 2 times the Guacamole wasn't like it used to be. I know preparing at the table is out for now, but this time it seemed prepared well ahead of our order.

Finally a fine Mexican food, presenting good quality food and service. Not the usual greasy Mexican junk food found elsewhere. Level A+ service (and also price, keep that in mind).

Delicious food, but when we showed up at 9pm we were told they closed at 9 while their hours online say 10pm. Would be nice if the hours were updated.
