had a delicious lemonade + iced tea!! gabe was so kind and helpful!
Best donuts in the area! Their donuts are incredible in flavor. They’re light, fluffy, and delicious - my kids request them every week! Our favorites are vanilla glaze, everything donut, and the Apple fritter. Sometimes they have savory tarts which are SO good. We especially love the pride donuts they have every June. Blackbird employees are always so friendly and welcoming as well, which is also appreciated. Blackbird also delivers through DoorDash, and the donuts are always delivered fresh. The Newton location does not have a bathroom, fyi but that does not detract from the amazing food! Thank you Blackbird for being such a wonderful addition to our community!
Love Blackbird Donuts. Recently bought a whole variety of donuts and didnt have a singular complaint. Their dedication to quality and to serving their customers is amazing and their willlingness to post about important social matters makes me even prouder to be a customer.
I can't stand business that do not just know how to work, doa good job and shut their mouths. This company deserves what ever bad karma they get forsupporting INDUCED migration
I was treated very poorly. The girl was talking very rudely. Worst service ever.
I asked for a ube latte and she just gave me an ice coffee and told me it actually doesn’t turn purple and I’ve been to the one in Watertown they make it good everytime. Always turns out purple! The Lady said she could remake it but it would turn out brown again. The best she could do was put the cold foam on top but I can’t drink coffee so now I just wasted eight dollars for nothing so I’m just letting everybody know do not for the love of God go to the one in Newton because this is my fourth time going there and they always make every drink I want wrong And now I’m out eight dollars and frustrated!
I want this morning this place i order glazed donut black guy gave me some kind of donut. I ask I order glazed why you give me this donut, he goes we dont have it. I said you shoud say that the first place.he is mad and rude make me wait longer even to get my coffee very rude guy 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
good donuts, not the greatest in the world but they do the job, and they actually come with a lot of filling
I love their salted toffee cronut on Sundays with my coffee. My daughters favorite donut shop.
The review is for catering.
Ordered $250 in donuts. Asked for the donut wall in which the website stated that all I needed was a refundable deposit to get it and the website never stated there was minimum requirements to get it.
After I paid I was told that I have to double my order to $500 to get the donut wall. Not only does this break a couple of consumer laws, like bait and switch, but it is an unprofessional business practice. I initially thought this was an honest mistake but their refusal to update their policies to the website, where customers can see them BEFORE the purchase, makes me wonder if its on purpose.
You are also not allowed to order in the stores, where you can ask questions, and have to use the website where they can control you with misinformation.
All I ever received for my complaint is excuses and no accountability. My solution was to update the website with their policies so it doesn't happen to the next person. Their solution is for me to shut up and go away. They feel that laws and good business practices don't apply to them because they are a small business who answers emails from home.
And I do not have a complaint about their policies or their minimum requirements. My complaint is in the timing of when they tell you. Who wouldn't be upset to learn about minimum requirements after they paid $250?
Then the first thing they did in their reply to my complaint was to publicly post my personal information that they obtained through a private business transaction which breaks privacy laws and continues unprofessional business policies.
They posted my last name to intimidate me to take down an honest review.
They then attacked me personally, calling me unhinged, because I refuse to accept their excuses.
The donuts are great. The store employees are great. But I would not use them for catering.

At the prices of these donuts, I expect a religious life-changing experience. The offerings are creative and very tasty, and for the creativity they are maybe incrementally "better" than the Gourmet Donuts chain. Staff seemed a little groggy and disinterested on a recent hot Sunday morning.

Tried these donuts several times as a treat. There are some neat flavor ideas BUT overall do not taste as good as they sound. The only one I could imagine re-ordering is Salted Toffee. Most donuts are extra soft and doughy, a bit rubbery, it's different but not delightful. These days the product is mediocre sorry to report.
