The food was fantastic!! We couldn’t believe we had never been here when we have literally lived 3 mins down the road for the last 3.5 years. I got the lobster and shrimp scampi and it was so delicious. My husband got the lamb rack and he also thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was good and quick, and our waiters were friendly. The only thing I didn’t like about the restaurant was that it’s really small, so if it’s crowded, it’s REALLY crowded, cramped, and LOUD. There was a table next to us seating about 10-12 60 something year olds for a birthday, and they were extremely loud. Yelling, hollering, laughing super loudly. After a day at work this was overstimulating and overwhelming for me. This was supposed to be a date night for my husband and I but I’m not so sure we will be going here for a date night again. Maybe just a casual drop in. It doesn’t have the somewhat quiet vibes that an anniversary dinner should have ? I guess these people didn’t know the concept of an inside voice. I know it’s their birthday, but try to be considerate to other patrons and their experience. Thankfully they were really only loud before they got their food and after they were done with it. Lol.

Dinner with a colleague and the food was very good and the service even better. The veal parm with side of sautéed spinach was very good. My colleague had calamari with pasta. Could have used a little flavor but otherwise good.

Happened upon this little gem while visiting for a work event in the area. I had the pork milanese special and it was amazing. Also had a nice negroni to kick things off! Highly recommend!

Extremely friendly service. A great stop just a few minutes off I90 to wait out the traffic. The chocolate deserts were a hit with the kids. Outdoor seating in the back was relaxing and peaceful after a day at the science museum.
Parking: After 5pm street parking was ample and free during the week.
Kid-friendliness: They sat us on the patio and we had the place to ourselves.

Been wanting to go here forever since I have fond memories of Cantin Abruzzi and Abruzzi Via from the 80s. It was good! Sadly no giant dish of baked ziti (7 year old Josh's favorite) but the chicken parm was great and the fettuccini pesto was pretty good too.

This was a fabulous experience!
We got the last table for a party of 3, and the place was packed. The owner was very visible and moved between the bar, the kitchen and the customers and he was clearly right at home and enjoying himself
The service was very friendly and the food fantastic
I'd definitely go again, and I have recommended this place to work colleagues visiting

first impressions: waitress offered bread and oil. We asked if it was good bread and if it was warm. She said yes it was warm. When she did finally bring it, it was cold like straight out of the fridge. why tell us it was warm and would it kill to pop it in the oven for two minutes? Makes a huge difference and I find that the first simple presentation of food, in this case the bread, portends the quality of the rest of the meal. I can stay home and eat cold bread.

Stopped in to meet my bestie and her mom for an early dinner at 5:00. There is ample parking nearby which makes it a plus especially for restaurants in Newton!
We were pleasantly greeted by the bartender (or chef I wasn’t sure because he overheard my order and said “I can make whatever you want” which was fantastic news! The waitresses were on top of their game, water glasses filled, constantly checking on us.
No apps just mains, the lobster/shrimp scampi, chicken piccata, eggplant parm and the steak tip special! The food came out quickly, was portioned well and delicious…our plates were clean.
By 6:00 pm the place was almost full and I can see why.
We shared a few desserts and although I would have eaten the entire tray of tiramisu the lemon cake was the winner…slightly tart with a buttery cake, not overly sweet and a perfect way to end the meal.
