Waitress was super sweet! Appetizers were so yummy, especially the ravioli! Entrees not so great. Meatloaf was very good. Seafood cakes and fish & chips were wonky. Some people in our party received interesting comments on their appearance. A really muscular man was insulted by someone calling him Harry Styles. Although, a zealous patriot was complimented on his American flag tie by a super nice guy at the bar! Parking not ideal. And they charged us for extra clam chowder (which does not taste award-winning to me as claimed). I would recommend this pub, but you need to try the meatloaf!

First time visiting the place. Nice pub, quite noisy when fully occupied.
We asked to sit outside. Nice space and of course much quieter.
Service was attentive and efficient.
Food was good except for two downfalls 1. The chicken breast was too dry. To their credit, they offered to replace the dish (we chose not to do so). 2. The boneless chicken wings were made great but very salty! The bread pudding and coffee were excellent.

If you feel like a trip back to Gods country then look no further! The atmosphere is one of a kind! Irish memorabilia you can’t find anymore! I felt like I was at my Nanas! The service is amazing and food is always 10/10! Amazing out door seating open too!

Late afternoon lunch at the bar. Our bartender, Laura was lovely. Great service and very welcoming. Our first time here. We enjoyed salads and a few drinks. A great way to spend a rainy afternoon.

What a find. Had my first visit last night (10/8) and it was great, as a Brit with an Irish grandad finding a proper pub is tough but this place hits the mark. Great atmosphere, great staff and a great fish sandwich. And a more than decent pint of Guinness.

Decent atmosphere and food, but absolutely asinine pricing. We had a table for four with 4 entrees and drinks, and the bill was close to $400. Definitely not worth anywhere near that, would definitely stay away. Food was okay but not standard presentation or exceptional. Too many decent options in the area to consider. Avoid.

The Shepard's pie with meatloaf was amazing. The staff works well together clearing plates and keeping waters filled. The kids menu keeps the littles ones happy. Definitely a great higher quality pub.

Best service in Newton. Place is a little tight when it comes to eating space. Food and drinks very good. If you are looking for a new place in area it's definitely one of the better and friendliest place in Newton/Needham. Parking is plentiful but could be a short one to two block walk and in rain it can suck. But all else is good.

Definitely recommend the fish and chips or pastrami sandwich.

Parking: U could get stuck a good block or two away but all parking is free.

With their great aesthetic, the best Pub Grub menu favorites and yes even an outdoor Ice Cream Cart.
Dunn Gaherin's in Newton is a must visit.
Their inside is beautiful as well, and perfect for a pint.

Consistently great food, drink and service. Been there many times and always look forward to going back. Can get busy. I'm not the only lucky one to have discovered this place. Eggplant fries are a must. They now have ice cream too.
