This was not our first visit to Biltmore. It was an off night as the added salmon was undercooked when asked for well done. The burger was lukewarm and was not hand able and needed to be cut. It turned into a mush burger.
I've been coming to the Biltmore for almost a decade. I've watched it get better and better through the years. It's everything you want in a neighborhood hangout. The cocktails are prohibition inspired and generally inventive takes on classics. The food is surprisingly good for bar food; the short rib poutine and brussel sprouts in particular are very satisfying. The beer list is always a great selection. Very good food, served in a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly attentive service. I have had a variety of their burgers and sandwiches that are all very good, and the fish and chips too. Good variety of "snacks" and appetizers. Reliably good to bring me back again, and again.
