Finagle a Bagel is always good - not great or must go like a Bagel World or Best Bagel but they have a nice assortment of bagels and good sandwiches. I'd never been to the test kitchen before. I liked their assortment of baked goods. We ended up ordering three bagel sandwiches and none of them were awesome. The Traditional wasn't done very well - the meat was way over done and it was a bit annoying that they didn't put any cheese or cream cheese on any of the sandwiches on the bottom portion of the bagel so those ended up being overly dry. I loved the blueberry bagel and thought the cheese one wasn't that tasty. The salmon sandwich was the best of the bunch. We also got the Phoenix Press and it was much spicier than I remembered so I couldn't eat it (which is why we got three sandwiches - one was after we opened and tasted them in the car). I think if I were to return I'd get a very simple sandwich with just cream cheese. The fancy ones are a bit overpriced and the quality just wasn't what I expected. The pumpkin spice iced coffee was okay but not very strong. I did like the inside with the seating and decor and seemed an enjoyable spot to sit and have a bagel and coffee.

Good bagels and quick, friendly service. The bagels are fresh with that nice slight crunch (crispness?) on the outside and soft chew on the inside. Each bagel had the perfect amount of cream cheese to go along with it. The jalapeño asiago bagel was just okay - it sort of lacked any real heat/spice like others that I've tried before and the bagel itself lacked the cheesy top. Therefore, it just kind of felt like I was having a plain bagel with a hint of asiago and no sighting of jalapeño. It still tasted fine, just not what I was expecting. My favorite/go-to is the french toast bagel with honey cinnamon cream cheese - it's sweeter and tastes like a dessert breakfast on the go. Price wise, each of these bagels with cream cheese was around $4, which is reasonable if not a normal price. I would also note that it's better to go in the morning if you plan on dropping in since it can get fairly busy OR order online their website since they have a pretty good/easy online ordering system. Overall, they're definitely the one of the better bagel companies out here and I would recommend!

I can't understand how sometimes the bagels are very fresh and other times taste almost day old. This is regarding all varieties. I would assume that the bagels are cooked fresh daily, but maybe they aren't. It's hit or miss. It's disappointing because when they are fresh they are very good.

Delicious and love that they are on seamless for delivery option!

Interesting menu, friendly, and nice atmosphere, but I’m a bagel connoisseur at this point, and my toasted everything bagel with cream cheese was well below par. Cream cheese was runny and bagel burnt.

This cafe is in an industrial area and a little hard to find. The person taking my order had idea what they were doing. I repeated the order at least 4 times. There were three items, a bagel, a bagel untoasted with butter, and a side of bacon. Pretty simple but I still did not get what I ordered. The bagel was okay. The bacon had little to no flavor, and how is that even possible. I would not go back.

A very odd location for this Finagle a Bagel and I wouldn't recommend coming out to try it either, but if you're hungry and close by, this place will do. This place is also a test kitchen, so it's quite big and they also offer boozy brunch drinks. They have a great accent wall to learn a little more about their store and bagels. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeño asiago bagel almost near closing and there were still a lot of bagels left. The texture of the bagel just feels a bit soggy, slightly chewy, but not much to it. The flavor was more cheesy and I didn't really taste the jalapeño flavor. The bacon is bacon bites, so it falls all over and out of your sandwich. The egg and cheese are didn't fill the bagel up, so it didn't feel very filling. Overall, if you're craving for a bagel go somewhere else.

So I used to work near the Finagle in Chestnut Hill and go there almost every day either for breakfast or lunch. Eventually that one closed and I thought it was gone forever....low and behold I was craving a bagel and typed it into my Yelp app and it said "Finagle a Bagel. Only about a mile from my house! I'm just upset it took me this long to realize it was there. I was even more delighted to discover the manager is the same as the one I knew all those years ago. The location is huge and spacious and there are tables to sit and eat at. There is a huge variety of bagels on the menu and the choc chip cookies are to die for. Super thick and chewy. I was sad not to see the salads on the menu that they had before but there are so many other options it doesn't even matter.

Nice ambience, but you definately pay for it. One bagel sandwich is enough for a small child and cost $10. The bagels are what you would expect but nothigh spectaular and definately not worth the money.

Good Choice, Went around 9:30 AM but they were sadly out of few options already. Would try earlier again.

I love Finagle the bagel. Great bagels, scones are my faves. But the people are exceptional. And its my neighborhood.

Fantastic bagels. Very little to add to this. I live in NY but this place is part of the reason, I look forward to trips to the Boston area.

We get your bagels locally here in Maine via Market Basket. Never again will we get Thomas’s or any other. We have tried several of your flavor/types and they are great. Recommended 100%.
