Definitive Moldovan experience for the Boston area.
Obviously, an appreciation of East European customs and food is important when visiting a café with an ethnic focus. My iced latté was thick and flavorful (definitely above the average diluted drink I find, so often, I have ordered elsewhere) but it was the thick, generous, tasty sandwiches that made this visit.
We sat outside at the sheltered, street-side tables. It was highly pleasant.

The borsht put a big smile on her face, it tasted perfect and was “10/10 authentic”. We put sour cream in it and it was wonderful.
The Sarmale tasted pretty good, but were a bit on the small side.
The eggplant dip was also quite good, and they gave us a generous amount.
Thanks for being the only restaurant in Boston that offers food from her home region....
