The local watering hole nearby changed owners, so all the people I came here to avoid now eat here. Oh well, thats not the restaurants fault.lt's a fairly standard Irish themed bar with a long bar, lots of beer varieties, and a wide food menu selection. Dinner with my family at Tommy Doyle's was good, not great. My wife's burger & fries were perfectly cooked. The shepherd's pie & beef stew were both good, but a bit lacking in flavor and somewhat boring. The complete lack of Irish soda bread or beer bread was quite disappointing; this is the first Irish pub I've been to without one of those, from maybe a dozen places. Our server was unfriendly, but she did her job fairly well.

The food was great. We did have to wait for food due to a stove issue, but the hostess was awesome in letting us know what was happening and making sure we were all good. Worth the wait.
