I like the location and the ambiance. The establishment itself is very clean which I like. The bar is nice. The food is alright. It's kind of expensive but it's standard for the location I guess. The service is alright as well. The bar is very nice and the bathrooms are clean which is good. I had the shrimp pad thai and it was ok. The appetizers were good. We got some scallion pancakes and some dumplings which were nice. Overall, it was an okay dining experience.

Finally came here 3 months ago for the 1st time & IDK why their ratings aren't higher. Must be a bunch of haters. For American Chinese cuisine, tough to get much better in Greater Boston. Excellent Hot & Sour soup. Dumplings (we had once were decent but this place has the 2nd best Gai Poo Lo Mein of ANY Chinese Restaurant in Greater Boston. So much better than anywhere else south or west of the city. Prices more than reasonable & service is decent. Don't worry, we'll keep coming back for Gai Poo Lo Mein at least once a month!

This place used to be special, not anymore. Now, the quality of the food has taken a significant step backward. They serve over-fried meat, perhaps a day old, definitely not fresh and at high prices. I do not mind paying high prices if the food was good quality, but it is not. We stopped going there for NY eve group order and have chosen other local restaurants. Such a disappointment.

The decor is kind of bare bones, but Rice Valley has good food. My absolute favorite is thier lemon chicken! Unlike other restaurants who do a variation on Orange/General Gau's (fried thigh meat), Rice Valley serves you two full pounded breaded cutlets, and it is soooo good!

First time ordering here I usually go to Lobster wok . I wanted a darker rice after a long night out and found them after googling. Expensive plate with just meat. I ordered the combination egg roll, chicken wing and ribs $17 and no rice? Highway robbery. Two egg rolls, two wings and dried ribs? I also ordered beef lo mein which was bland. Later I Ordered from New Dragon Chef in Waltham. Less stars but I tried them and the food was good! and I saved money while getting rice just like everywhere else gives it ....at least make your food worth the arm your gonna charge rice valley! who doesn't give rice like their name says-haha. Reviews are way to positive on here

This is possibly the best Chinese food we have. No other option come s close in Waltham or Newton. Take out is great and dine in is a good experience as well. A little more expensive but with it for quality of food and service. Staff is beyond nice.
