Finally came here 3 months ago for the 1st time & IDK why their ratings aren't higher. Must be a bunch of haters. For American Chinese cuisine, tough to get much better in Greater Boston. Excellent Hot & Sour soup. Dumplings (we had once were decent but this place has the 2nd best Gai Poo Lo Mein of ANY Chinese Restaurant in Greater Boston. The decor is kind of bare bones, but Rice Valley has good food. My absolute favorite is thier lemon chicken! Unlike other restaurants who do a variation on Orange/General Gau's (fried thigh meat), Rice Valley serves you two full pounded breaded cutlets, and it is soooo good!

I like the location and the ambiance. The establishment itself is very clean which I like. The bar is nice. The food is alright. It's kind of expensive but it's standard for the location I guess. The service is alright as well. The bar is very nice and the bathrooms are clean which is good. I had the shrimp pad thai and it was ok. The appetizers were good. We got some scallion pancakes and some dumplings which were nice. Overall, it was an okay dining experience.
