I’ve been wanting to come here for a long time and I understand its appeal. Definitely a 3.5 to 4 star neighborhood joint. Sat at the bar a few weeks ago with a work colleague and for a Wednesday it was packed and loud. The bartender barely gave us the time of day and the drink he made me seemed pre-batched it came out so quickly. Sycamore is a great neighborhood restaurant. The food, in general, is consistently good. We can usually count on a good meal here. The menu is small but has a good variety. The meats, soups, and pastas are done well. The fish dishes are sometimes inconsistent. Limited dessert choices but they are usually good.
