We found this place recently since our son began going to school in the area and it has been quite a pleasurable place to visit before we head home after visiting him. They do pack in a crowd here in a Sunday morning so the trick is to get here early.Situated in a renovated old train station, the wooden benches are from the original station waiting room and the there's plenty of old signs and framed memorbilia from a time long ago to look at while waiting for your food or a table. We've only had breakfast here (several times), but everything is served fresh and hot (my favorite is the chicken and waffles . . . with a guilty pleaseure of a side of their thick cut crispy bacon). But my son usually gets the Eggs Benedict (not sure how long he's liked that dish, but he really enjoys it here). Their coffee is always fresh and quality along with their freshly squeezed orange juice. I'd love to come back in here for a lunch (apparently no dinner here as they close by 3PM . . . 5PM on Saturdays) . . . so until I get lunch there, I will leave off one star for the "unknown", but I suspect it will be wonderful.
Challah French Toast is the bomb. Vegan scramble is delicious too!
We came for breakfast/lunch around noon on a Saturday. We were greeted with Friendly service from our server and the food was tasty. One of us ordered breakfast and the other lunch. Nicely sized menu with lots of options.
Don't call it a diner anymore, apparently. Non-diner prices but food is just average. Still a nice location and welcoming spot.
Not open. Did not have phone message to that point. Website indicated that they were open. Wasted a trip there. If there were fewer than 1 star possible I'd give them that.
Delicious, fresh and great music! The breakfast and latte was perfect. Great ambiance, I’ll definitely recommend and will be back!
Went there for my birthday. They put confetti on the table which was a very nice touch. The food was amazing and steak is perfectly cooked for what we temperature you want.
Wonderful place to have a good meal. Waitress was very friendly and patient. Food was good. All in all it was very nice
Love the sweet potato waffles!
Good breakfast and service..

This place is never open. Checked their website. Only open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9-2? Why? So disappointing. Would like to try it, but only open during the middle of the week and day. Ugh.Update & note to owner: It's nice to hear that you are open other days of the week. Could you please update your website to reflect your Friday and Saturday business hours? While I can empathize with the struggle that the pandemic has caused small business owners, attacking potential patrons of your business is not the way to air your frustrations. I simply pointed out a flaw in how only being open on T/W from 9-2 misses a large population of people who would love to support a local restaurant, especially during these hard times.
I ordered the chicken and waffles and an earl grey tea. The chicken and waffles was great and a large portion. I only ate half and took the rest to go. The buttermilk waffle and chicken was great with maple syrup
Went to brunch with the boyfriend and sat at the bar. Our bartendress/waitress was awesome, wish I had caught her name. The fried chicken Benedict and chicken & waffles were both so good! Awesome mimosa list that I will dive into next time.
I arrived at Newton Centre needing a ride desperately, and Nicole was beyond nice enough to call an Uber for me, Mind you, I'm 18 from the city, Thanks again, really means a lot that certain adults even when you least expect can help you out !
Possibly the best hamburger I’ve ever had!
