“We like to come here after work every now and then. They have a pretty large selection of beverages and food to choose from. I would personally recommend the potato jackets and a beer (or two) if you're going for a quick visit. Plenty of seating between the bar and tables and an authentic feel all around. Always greeted by a friendly staff and given fast service.“
“This was such a hidden gem! I almost walked past it, but the glittering lights inside brought me in and they did NOT disappoint! The food was delicious and the staff were super knowledgeable about the spice levels of various dishes, suggesting food for each of our preferences! We had the queso fundito which was DELICIOUS (it was a mild spice for most, but a little too spicy for me to order again lol), and I had the loaded nachos with carnitas and they were some of the best nachos I have ever had! The nachos were extra interesting because they are full tortillas, not tortilla chips, that the toppings were placed on, and the carnitas were super mild on spice! The only thing that was a little lackluster was the drinks were quite sweet, so if you are someone who wants a more sour than sweet margarita, I would recommend asking for it less sweet. Overall, this was such an amazing restaurant and I will definitely be coming back here again and again!“
“Food is pretty solid but was not blown away. I went there a couple of hours prior to close so this could have very likely the reason why. The ribs were pretty good, especially when paired with some of the sauces they offer which is probably the highlight of the dish overall. The mac and cheese was fairly underwhelming and needs a bit more love. I also got the burnt ends as well; and when you mix in some of the meat/sauce with the mac, it drastically improves it. The best part of the meal was probably the cornbread which was moist, flavorful and paired well with the main entree. I Will be sure to try again but will make sure to go earlier in the day next time. As a lover of BBQ, I would also note some items seemed a bit pricey for desirable items but the menu is big enough to where you can find something fulfilling for a reasonable price.“
“We ate lunch at The Dirty Truth. The locally sourced lettuce came with raw radishes and homemade red wine vinaigrette. We also added a side of fried chicken. The dish was excellent, the lettuce tasted fresh and the vinaigrette just right; the fried chicken was tasty, crunchy outside and tender inside. A perfect combination. Great staff and service. Will come back.“
