If you have never dined here before, you are in for a surprising treat. The Culinary Arts Department at the Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School operates a student-run restaurant three days a week, Wednesday through Friday of most weeks, from 10:45 AM to 12:30 PM. The students, under the supervision of three chef instructors, learn every aspect of food preparation and service. There is menu service on Wednesdays and Thursdays and an all you can eat buffet on most Fridays, which is currently priced at only $15.00. The menu changes weekly and is posted online. This is genuinely one of the hidden gems of the Pioneer Valley.
Best school around to learn a trade
The adults education director Lorena Turner. Berated me in front of my whole classes and kick me out for having questions about the room size and her not wearing her mask this passed Tuesday. I heard her speaking to another person making racist comments and when. I went to apologize to she yelled at me and threaten to call the cops because I had questions. And because she wear masks that don’t fit her well and and so they keep sliding down her face. We are in the middle of a pandemic I have the right to feel safe in my class room environment. I will be filing a law suit and contacting the local news and tv channels.
A great school and a good stepping stone for young individuals to get into a career not just a job
So many great skills you can learn to start a career.
Great school, amazing programs, shop teachers are amazing! Offers 15 different shops including trades!

It is guuuud
great place to go to school
Graduated in 1962. The school curriculum has changed dramatically since the I was there. As Secretary of the Smith Vocational High School Alumni Association, I have had the opportunity to work with staff who have great visions for the schools future. Their input and assistance in maintaining a school alumni association to represent past graduates. Thank you to, Mr. Linkehoker, Superintendent, Michael Cahillane, chairmen of the Board of trustees Mr Bianca, Principal and Mrs .Carver, administrative Secretary, Mr. Lacey Culinary Arts, Walker Boyd Graphics, Jeff Lareau, Athletic Department for your assistance in planning the Annual Alumni Banquet for the year.

Very happy with old Smith Voc! Majored in Plumbing shop, those teachers are the best! The academic education is very good especially for a tech school. The vocational and tech skills are very useful and teach work ethic through co-op apprenticeships, campus work, habitat-for-humanity work, etc. College is valuable, but it isn’t necessarily for everyone nor does it lead to a career in today’s economy. Trade skills are the way to go and America needs to stop shaming people for
Really good food and beautifully presented!
