The kale Caesar is outstanding. However, everything else we got was dreadfully underseasoned. Is the chef afraid of salt??? The Cajun sampler was bland and boring, really no Cajun flavors whatsoever. Fish chowder had literally NO salt it was like eating a bowl of warm heavy cream with some fish in it. Both dishes could have been fine is seasoned properly. Hopefully, they see this...

Food was great! Better than expected, service was good, nice cold setting and great menu options. Portions were bigger than expected (for us at least).. like the tofu with fried rice was definitely big. And the restaurant is on the first/main floor of Thorne marketplace.

I have been coming here with my dad since I was a youngster. One of our favorite restaurants. P&E’s holds a really special place in my heart. The service is always wonderful and friendly, beautiful clean atmosphere, and the food is homemade and always excellent. My only plea is to bring the homemade tabouleh and indian pudding back. The tabouleh paired wonderfully with the hummus salad and it was the best I ever had. At one point it was just never on the menu again. It’s probably been a decade and a half since it’s been on the menu. Pleaseeee bring it back!!!!!
