Today was my first visit to Shelburne Falls Coffee Roasters in Northampton, MA.I really liked the atmosphere with fun music playing and the scenic Northampton center of town so visible through the large windows in the cafe. The pricing was fair. I enjoyed most especially the fresh orange juice. The staff were very kind and friendly, too.

The staff is so friendly and helpful here, you can tell they really care! The food is always delicious, they have plenty of drinks options to choose from, and it is always nice and clean! Highly recommend the Shelburne Falls in Noho!!

I went to this location at around 4 PM and the coffee was cold. Apparently they stop making fresh coffee at least an hour before they close. There are too many coffee establishments out there to have to put up with Shelburne Falls Coffee. Also, the employees expect a tip for handing me a cup to pour my own coffee or for making me a coffee behind the counter?! Tipping culture is out of control! I do not tip Shelburne Falls employees!

First time here. Terrible coffee. A latte should be espresso and steamed milk. I don't like sugar in my coffee. They put sugared whipped cream on my latte (and maybe some kind of syrup in it). It tasted like the instant vanilla flavored coffee you buy in a little tin. Yuck. Bacon breakfast sandwich was slippery with grease. In town for a week. Hoping there are better places to go for a latte.

Awesome place and my one stop shop for when im cruising! Perfect place for a Onewheeling guitar shredder as myself to chill out. Rest feet and hands, get to charge my Onewheel, Spark go, Aaand wirless guitar adapter. Super chill staff and environment. Oh, and everything tastes great also!

Terrific, if you have no plans to do anything else. They simply aren’t staffed (or at least not today) to handle the in-store and online order volume.

The service is always slow and the order is usually wrong and this is STILL my favorite coffee shop in Noho!!! It's just that good! And I've tried them all! The staff is always super friendly, the vibes are good, the food is DELICIOUS, the coffee is the best you're going to find in town, and the everything is actually really well priced (a Noho first).

My go-to spot for a tasty coffee, I am ALWAYS impressed by the creative food, consistent coffee and friendly service from the Shelburne Falls on Main Street. My favorite egg sandwich is the Northampton with its vegetarian sausage and cream cheese YUM:). And it is absolutely massive (and beautifully constructed- it did not fall apart in my hands)! Great quality food and ingredients. They have everything you could want from a coffee shop and are always running new and exciting specials. I love their seasonal flavored beans as well. The environment is tidy and cute, a great place to sit and enjoy your breakfast.

Pleasant coffee shop with pastries and sandwiches. Counter service was adequate, kitchen seemed rather slow for sandwiches, which arrived lukewarm. Bathroom and trash were both unattended and nasty. A definite turn off in a food establishment.

I used to love coming here, the employees would greet you with a smile and chat a little with everyone; walking in present day you feel invisible. The coffee is still good but I’d rather get my coffee from a robot than the people that work here now. None of them are friendly at all and they are lackadaisical at best. It’s a shame really, I’ve almost completely stopped going but I love their coffee still.

Don't waste your time or your money. Truly just bad coffee and drinks, Its always very watery or is mostly milk with a whisper of coffee and the coffee always tastes stale.I got 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches, $30 dollars and a half an hour later all i left with was disappointment Why does it take so long to slap some egg and cheese on a bagel? also why is it 30 dollars?I've lived in the area for 5 years and I feel like the quality keeps getting worse, like they are cutting corners to increase their profits or something? This apply' s to the King Street Location too. DO BETTER!!

I buy online exclusively and their grilled cheese sandwiches are good, but the service usually isn't. I have waited double the time to get my food when the cafe wasn't busy, they have left my food sitting on the counter and not put it on the shelf until it is cold, etc. The cafe itself is also very small and smells strongly of coffee, not to mention that the sandwich is nearly double what it would cost anywhere else. Maybe ordering in the cafe would be better but I can't really be sure.Kid-friendliness: The cafe is tiny and bringing a kid here would likely not go over well if it isn't well-behaved.

Every time I go here there’s always at least one person who is very rude to me… I try to be courteous and kind everywhere I go, working in a service job myself. It feels very unwarranted and I don’t understand why, I always tip and try to be clear with my order. One specific person, they have orange hair with blonde tips, was the rudest person I have ever ordered from at a coffee shop. Me and my girlfriend ordered 2 coffees on separate orders. They were the same kind. This person gave me mine and then sat on their phone for several minutes texting while we waited for my girlfriends coffee. We went and asked if it had been forgotten, but instead of just being like “oh yeah sorry”, they were like “yeah I already gave that to you” and gave me a mean facial and expression. I was pretty shocked and ended up just going to get the car. My girlfriend says when they gave her her coffee they said “sorry for the wait” in a sarcastic/dismissive tone.I don’t think it’s much to ask to just be polite. I understand service jobs can be stressful, but it was a slow time and it was really anxiety inducing to be treated like a nuisance. I just wanted a coffee!FYI all of the trans women I have met who work here are super kind and I think they rock!!!!Since this is a review, I will say that I love the croissants here. Perhaps I’ll try a different location and hope they have kinder employees.
