I'm too antisocial to have brought it up in person but there was hair in my food. Can't ever go back.

Some guy named Matt tried to buy a cigarette off me in the parking lot, he threatened me. My family and I just wanted a good meal. Only saw a name tag, but could also point the guy out.

Union Station Banquet was the perfect venue for our wedding! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely spectacular. The table settings were stunning, the atmosphere was elegant, and the entire space felt so special and beautifully arranged.

The staff were incredibly attentive and professional — they made sure every detail was taken care of so we could fully enjoy the day without stress. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better venue!

A special shoutout to Neil, our wedding coordinator, who was such a pleasure to work with. He had amazing ideas, stayed calm and composed throughout, and helped guide us with confidence — which meant the world on such an emotional day.

We are so thankful to Union Station Banquet for making our wedding unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!

Union Station Banquets was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, they were flexible, responsive, and incredibly accommodating as we planned our special day. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, clean, and spacious – I was initially worried the room might feel crowded, but it couldn’t have been more comfortable and inviting for all of our guests.

Neil, our coordinator, was the easiest person to work with throughout the entire process. He was organized, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure every detail was perfect. From answering endless questions to offering thoughtful suggestions, Neil made planning so much less stressful and ensured the day itself ran flawlessly. His calm, confident presence was exactly what we needed, and it was clear he truly cared about creating the best possible experience for us and our guests.

We are still getting so many compliments about the food and the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond, not just in serving, but in making everyone feel welcome and cared for. The way they decorated the space brought our vision to life even better than we imagined, and the attention to detail was unmatched.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue, a better coordinator, or a more dedicated team. Union Station was our first and only venue we toured since we knew it was exactly what we wanted. We are endlessly grateful to Union Station Banquets, especially Neil, for helping make our wedding day not only perfect, but truly unforgettable.

Miscommunications on our wedding, basically everything went wrong with the planning. I usually don't review places, but this was enough to make me do it. Staff was great, besides management, (which as you can guess, made one of the most important events of my life end badly).

Terrible experience. Food wasnt good, but most importantly my party and I were being ignored by waiters/waitresses.

If you are looking for a unique setting for your event and a staff whose trademark should be “attention to detail” look no further than the Roosevelt Room at Union Station. My daughter was recently married there and it was the most magical day. But let me take you back 6 months to our food tasting. Neil, the event coordinator, had the table set for us to preview colors, plate settings, etc. He noted the brides preferences and listened to their feedback. He answered dozens of questions in between serving our courses to sample. The food was delicious and from the tasting to the wedding day that didn’t change. The steak was tender, the roasted carrots amazing and the little touch of serving our younger guests chicken tenders and fries did not go unnoticed. The morning of the wedding we arrived at the venue to do hair and make up and Neil and his staff were there answering last minute questions and even running to a local breakfast restaurant to pick up our order. It was obvious in all the staff did that they were intent on making the day perfect…and it was! The focus was always on what the couple envisioned and then executing that vision. I could literally go on gushing about this venue and the staff who demonstrated such a commitment to excellence. Put this venue on your must see list and I assure you it will not disappoint!

From the moment we booked Union Station Banquets, Neil and his team were rock stars. They were never said no, so accommodating, and always responded quickly to any questions or requests we had. The venue itself is stunning and we didn't need to spend a ton on extra decor - everything was included with no hidden fees. Neil and his team made sure every single detail of our wedding day was exactly where it needed to be and on point with the timeline. I never worried about anything, as they were always checking in with my husband and I to ensure our special day went off without a hitch. Neil truly listened to me and my vision and they even let you get a sneak peak of the room before everyone comes in and they brough my year of planning to life. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly to stop by in the morning to pick up! Everyone raved about the food as well! Many people said this was the most fun wedding they have ever been to! This is a day I will always remember as the most special day because of the incredible service and support from the Union Station Banquets team.

We can't say enough fantastic things about Union Station, the event coordinator, Neil, and the entire team at Union Station. Wedding planning is overwhelming and stressful and from the initial tour, Neil alleviated so much of that stress. The venue is stunning. The pictures speak for themselves.

To start, the initial tour was super informative and not pushy, which is something we've encountered at other venues. Neil walked us through the space and showed us where we'd be getting ready (upstairs in the boardroom for one party and the Tunnel Bar was available for the other), where the ceremony would take place, how the space transitions from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception, and how the day will flow. He had an iPad with pictures to help us visualize everything.

The packages are generous, customizable, and with great variety. We selected a package that had a cake and floral centerpieces included. Neil walked us through each step and let us know when we needed to contact each vendor. Linens, silverware, and everything needed for your tablescape was all included and beautiful, which was something I really appreciate because I has no interest in getting stuck with a bunch of place cards, candle holders, etc. to try to sell on FB marketplace. Throughout the process, Neil was beyond responsive, calm, and helpful. He helped us with challenges like uneven table assignments and extreme last minute RSVPs. He was even so kind as to share all media that was taken during our wedding with us, as we did not have a videographer. It's clear that Neil and his team will do anything in their power to make sure your wedding is special.

The day of was more than I ever expected. The team worked to coordinate everything and moved the event seamlessly. Of course, with 140 guests there were delays and the team just pivoted and made sure no one noticed. The food was delicious, the bar line moved quickly, and all our guests are still raving about the day. We had the time of our lives and Union Station and the entire team were responsible for that. Already hoping to plan a vow renewal so we can relive that day because it was so much fun!

Union Station Banquets didn’t just host our wedding, they made it the best day of our lives.

Of all the venues we toured, this was the one that made our groom tear up. We met playing romantic leads in Murder on the Orient Express, so we wanted a space with vintage charm. The Roosevelt Room delivered. Original 1911 architecture, warm oak, soaring ceilings, and period light fixtures made it feel like stepping into a storybook. Elegant, not forced. Grand, not overwhelming.

We chose the Platinum Wedding Package and held everything onsite, from getting ready to the final dance. That kind of flow only happens when people genuinely care, and at Union Station, that care shows in every detail.

Neil Gadbois, our coordinator, was outstanding. Calm, responsive, and thoughtful, he answered every question and embraced every request. He made the process feel effortless and let us stay present and relaxed.

The food tasting alone was a highlight. We brought both sets of parents and were treated to a fully styled preview, complete with a table dressed in our theme colors and a green glass base inspired by our photos. That detail appeared on every table at the wedding, beautiful and included at no extra cost. The food was so good we had trouble narrowing it down. They even let us add vegetarian and allergy-friendly meals beyond the standard choices.

Neil ran our rehearsal with warmth and clarity. That evening we hosted our dinner at Notch8, and the flatiron steaks, shrimp scampi, and smoked cocktails were a hit. Our server Paige even teared up when we shared how we met.

The morning of the wedding, Neil was already there, cheerful and prepared. We added the breakfast spread and are so glad we did. It was delicious, and we are still thinking about the scones. Every moment felt calm and covered.

Andrei, our lead server, was a star. He brought snacks and drinks to the bridal suite and helped lift the bride’s train during portraits so it would not get dirty. We did not ask. He just did it. During cocktail hour, he brought us appetizers and a quiet moment alone. Later, when we were more dehydrated than tipsy, he gently switched us to water. At one point, he danced across the floor with a tray of water to hand the groom a glass during the Time Warp.

The staff flipped the ballroom during portraits so quietly we barely noticed. When we reentered for dinner, the room looked perfect.

And the food? Incredible. Guests are still raving. The peppered beef tenderloin with mushroom demi-glace was the favorite, but the salmon and chicken were excellent too.

Even the bar staff went above and beyond. The bride’s father is a loyal Labatt drinker. Bartender Tina made sure it was stocked just for him. That small gesture meant the world.

We used a rented floral package, and by the end of the night, Neil had it boxed and loaded into the bride’s parents’ car. We never felt rushed or pushed out, just cared for.

Union Station gave us more than a beautiful space. They gave us a day full of joy, meaning, and ease. We can't possibly fit everything we loved into the review character limit, so just know this: If we had to do it again, we would choose them every time.

Over-the-top Wedding and Reception. So much planning and coordination, guidance. Everyone is so pleasant. A truly beautiful venue. The absolute best meal I've ever had at any wedding. Filet mignon cooked perfectly, never happens, come on, 150 guests? It was a bit of a drive, but we stayed locally ( Fairfield Inn which was also great). Congratulations to Union Station for all they do so well.

We held my mothers celebration of life at Union Station. Working with Neil, the event director, was great! He was very responsive, answered all of our questions and was there from our initial inquiry email till the day of the event. The venue is classy and absolutely beautiful, the hors d'oeuvres we were able to pick out were delicious, and the fact that they have their own parking lot was a huge convenience. This was the perfect place to celebrate our mother the way she deserved. Highly recommended!

Great venue but too small for a record show!

Last night was our wedding at union station and it was amazing. I barely had to lift a finger and most things were included. Niel really works hard and makes sure it’s the day you want! Robert also treated my husband and I like we were kings and queens whether he was making sure we had our drink orders and snacks and truly made the day a five star experience. What a day to remember
