We held my mothers celebration of life at Union Station. Working with Neil, the event director, was great! He was very responsive, answered all of our questions and was there from our initial inquiry email till the day of the event. The venue is classy and absolutely beautiful, the hors d'oeuvres we were able to pick out were delicious, and the fact that they have their own parking lot was a huge convenience. This was the perfect place to celebrate our mother the way she deserved. Highly recommended!

Great venue but too small for a record show!

Last night was our wedding at union station and it was amazing. I barely had to lift a finger and most things were included. Niel really works hard and makes sure it’s the day you want! Robert also treated my husband and I like we were kings and queens whether he was making sure we had our drink orders and snacks and truly made the day a five star experience. What a day to remember

A huge thank you to the entire Union Station Banquets team for making our wedding day stress-free, STUNNING, and truly unforgettable. The value of what they provide for their weddings for the cost is unbeatable and they go above and beyond for their couples. I am still in awe of how beautifully decorated the space was and how they provided us and our guests with such exceptional service. We did provide a few extra decor items that we placed in the cocktail hour bar area and the side atrium space but for the most part the entire reception dining room decor, tablescapes, etc was all provided by Union Station with our package.
We have to thank Neil for being a great coordinator - he made sure all of our expectations were met, if not exceeded. Thank you Neil for handling everything so smoothly with our wedding planning - your patience, kindness, and speed at responding to what must have felt like a million and one questions from us was nothing short of amazing.
We also need to give another shout out to Rob, who is the venue's guest experience manager, but was our personal assistant/ wedding day superhero. He helped us get to where we needed to be and when we needed to be there, made sure we actually ate food at both cocktail hour and dinner, made sure our drinks were always filled, and just generally helped us however we needed. Honestly having his help throughout the day was something we were so grateful for and will forever RAVE about.
We also rented their trolley and were very pleased with the service. It snowed a decent amount on our wedding day/night, leaving the roads under a few inches of snow yet the trolley had no issues safely chugging along to pick up and drop off guests throughout the wedding. The driver was amazing and handled the bad weather like a pro - we were so thankful she got everyone where they needed to be safely!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at Union Station! From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our holiday party was seamless and stress-free. They were incredibly responsive, accommodating every request with a smile, and took every opportunity to make our event truly special.

On the day of the event, they didn’t just meet expectations, they exceeded them. Their attentiveness and professionalism helped our host relax and enjoy the celebration, stepping in whenever needed to handle any last-minute details or unexpected hiccups. It’s rare to find a team so dedicated to making an event feel effortless, and we are beyond grateful for their support.

We can't say enough great things about Neil and his team. Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations. The room looked beautiful, the food was delicious. Neil made sure that we had everything we needed for our wedding day.

On 12/13 We had our office holiday party for 30 guests, and we couldn't have been happier. We had the space above the Tunnel Bar, and it fit us all very comfortably. The area was beautifully decorated for the holiday season. Neil, the coordinator, helped answer every question I had. He made sure everything ran smoothly. He even accommodated a special meal for someone with allergies even though we had a buffet dinner. This was by far our favorite venue and BEST holiday party we have had to date. The food was excellent. Drinks were delicious. The staff was so friendly. Autumn was also a part of the staff that evening and she did a fantastic job at making sure we all had what we needed. A bonus for everyone was watching the trains go by the backside of the building while eating and drinking. Very cool! I highly recommend hosting your next gathering at Union Station/Tunnel Bar. Worth every penny!

What a dream. I cannot say enough good things about Neil and his team. Our wedding was stress free, and the amount of compliments we received was incredible. Any questions, Neil has the answer. He is attentive, compassionate and clearly loves what he does. Neil even went as far as grabbing my lip gloss for me upstairs while taking photos! Quite literally will bend over backwards to make sure your day is as memorable as possible. We could not be happier to have Neil and the Union Station team be apart of our big day. Our hearts of full, and they are a big part of why. Thank you so so so much for everything!!!!

Meg and I don’t even know where to begin with trying to explain how perfect our wedding day was at Union Station. From the first day we met Neil and toured the venue, straight through the day of the event, everything was absolutely perfect. My mom even looked at me at the end of the night and said, “I can’t believe it, literally nothing went wrong! Not a single thing!” Neil and his team are so efficient and organized. You have so much support from an extremely professional team from the moment you start working with them and the vendors they suggest/include. We had a phenomenal experience with everyone and everything. We need to provide special shout outs to: Colin, for saving the day and helping Meg tie (and re-tie!) her handmade bow tie that no one could get quite right except you! Shay, for bringing the party all night long through 1AM and making sure that Meg and I were taken care of the whole day! The entire Union Station team, for making sure every guest had a blast and enjoyed themselves. And of course, Neil, for being there with us through countless emails with questions and zoom meetings and even the day of at 6AM, with a smile, being the steadfast leader and exceptional planner through the end of the wedding. We would not have had such a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, and stress-free wedding day without you. THANK YOU so much Union Station. If we could do it all over again, we’d choose you every single time.

I cannot recommend Union Station enough for your event! Throughout the entire process, Neil, our event planner, took the time to address any and all questions for us, while also offering advice and suggestions where we didn't even know where to start. Every individual we worked with at Union Station made it clear that they were there to make our wedding day smooth and perfect, and made sure every detail was accounted for. We truly could not have imagined a more beautiful day. Union Station did an excellent job executing our vision and made sure we didn't have to do a thing! Thanks to Neil and our server, Shea, we had the most amazing wedding day. I would not have done a single thing differently, and am so glad we decided to go with Union Station!

Exceeded Expectations! When we were looking for wedding venues we wanted something unique that would accommodate all of our loved ones. We didn't have a huge budget but we didn't want to have to sacrifice an amazing experience for our guests. This place fit our budget and certainly was unique. We live in Chicago and wanted to host our wedding in Massachusetts as that is where we both are from. As a UMASS graduate I would frequent both the Tunnel Bar and The Deck and always loved my time there. We could not have been happier with our decision from start to finish. As an out of state bride Neil made me feel so comfortable with how communicative he was. When we visited for our wedding tasting I knew I had made the right decision. Neil made my vision come to life as if he was in my brain! Everything we asked for they said yes to or that they would try and figure it out. My husband and I met at chilis and they made an exception and allowed us to have chilis chips and salsa baskets at the cocktail hour and triple dippers for a late night snack. We hosted our after party above the tunnel bar and they made it a seamless transition. The space allows for lots of space for your guest to explore from the deck, the Roosevelt room, cocktail space and the amazing tunnel bar. Having different rooms was very important to me as I like the versatility. To this day everyone continues to tell us that it was the best wedding they had ever been do. The atmosphere and the service were exceptional. The food was absolutely incredible from sushi, fresh salad, a sorbet course that fulfilled my princess diaries dreams, incredible entree and the the s'more's and cookie bar! The team synchronized their service so all gets were plated at the same time. Neil and his team were incredible. I truly would not have been able to do it without them. They all went above and beyond through every moment from opening the place early for the girls to get ready to Neil even running and picking up our late night snacks when we forgot to designate someone to do so. Book this place if you want a stunning venue that your guests will remember forever and a stress-free day. My only regret is not hosting our rehearsal dinner here even though we had our wedding and breakfast the next day! Thank You Neil and your team for making this day truly the best day of our life!

We highly recommend Union Station Banquets if you are looking for a wonderful venue for your next special occasion! We loved celebrating our wedding in October 2024 in the beautiful and unique space that Union Station offers. Neil, the Event Director, was quick to respond to all of our questions throughout the planning process. He offered suggestions when we needed them and guided us through our decisions involving the important details. The entire venue staff were accomodating and attentive to everyone's needs and the food was delicious. We cannot speak highly enough of one of our servers in particular, Shea. Shea was friendly and just what we needed on such an important day. We and our guests will remember our day fondly because of the professionalism and warmth that Neil and all of the venue staff exudes and because of the absolutely stunning atmosphere that Union Station provides!

Their event coordinator Neil is so wonderful! His calm, knowledgeable presence and keen eye for detail are unmatched in its perfection. Lead server Shea is the sweetest and funniest person! She made sure we wanted for nothing. She even coordinated it to make sure to hold our dinners so that when we sat down to eat, they were cooked to perfection and piping hot! The bartenders served a signature drink for our event. Every single guest tried it and LOVED it. The cocktails' sweet smokey elegance really added to the atmosphere of our wedding. I wish I was getting married again so I could relive it all.
