We went to the restaurant for the first time on Mothers Day. Had no idea that not only was there was a buffet, but that was the only option. You couldn't order off the menu if you wanted to. We had a reservation and no one relayed this info to us.

We were a party of 18 for a legacy luncheon. We booked the space which was off in a private area and when we arrived it was all set up, we had a wonderful server named June who was well aware of our group and the apps we had pre-ordered. Apps were delicious (guac & chips, spinach artichoke dip with pita). Best thing was we were given the opportunity to order off the all day menu individually or buffet when we booked the space. I decided to have everyone order off the menu. Meals came out within 20 minutes from our arrival and everyone was so happy with their meal. Of course, we had dessert and drinks and it was all fantastic! It was a very relaxing luncheon. The staff and food were great. The GM John was very helpful when booking the date. Thanks Neighborhood Tavern!

Neighborhood Tavern has always had a great beer list, with tons of good stuff on tap. Now they are the first to have a non-alcoholic beer on tap, Athletic Run Wild, which I had last night. Kudo's to them for that. Here's hoping more restaurants follow their lead and broaden their NA horizons.

I was pretty disappointed with my espresso martini, it was about 3/4th a martini glass full. The honey sriracha bone in wings were alright. I ordered the shepherds pie and it was like a soup. I literally drained out all of the oil from my entree onto another plate and my server witnessed the entire thing behind me. She didn't offer another meal or to take it off the bill. I couldn't eat it from how oily it was and didn't have the time or energy to deal with it. It was just all very underwhelming. I've been here before and really enjoyed my first experience, which is why I returned this time with my daughter. Her burger and fries were good, but I left bothered with the overall experience.

I would have given a zero, Worse service I've had anywhere. Waitress was rude and argumentative. We were there for a birthday luncheon. We waited for 1/2 hour before ordering. Food mediocre. We were there for 3 hours waiting for food/drinks. Spoke with manager who said he would credit our bill, he didn't. We had to take the birthday cake since it was never brought out.

We ate at the bar. The bartenders were only paying attention to a few customers and essentially ignoring others. My wife brought this to their attention. Instead of apologizing for lack of attention, they explained that these people were regulars so they were spending a lot of time talking to them. The food and the pricing were good, but we're not likely to return.

Stopped by the Neighborhood Tavern to watch basketball today. I'm not sure why this place has received bad reviews. The service and food were great, would definitely stop in again.

Meh experience overall. My seared tuna with rice and scallions was a plain combination. The espresso creme brulee wasn't cooked at all at the top, thus just creme. Also, it didn't have much espresso flavoring (or an espresso bean, which was in the menu picture). All in all, nothing special.

4 of us (siblings, 65-77) went for lunch at noon. We were greeted by Sean and shown to a very comfortable booth that could have held 6 of us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The cleanliness was top notch, including the rest rooms.June was our waitress and was very attentive, told us to take our time (it was very quiet at that time) and gave us a very complete explanation of the menu and specials. After ordering June came by to make sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. When the meals were ready they were brought out by the chef, Ron.3 of us ordered the fish and chips which, by consensus, were the best we had ever had; great crusty coating, large piece of fish perfectly cooked. The plentiful sides were French fries and cole slaw. The fries were crispy outside, tender inside. The fourth ordered a Reuben sandwich; large, plenty of tender meat. He said it was excellent.Getting ready to leave we met Ron again on the way out and complimented him on the great meals. He explained about how careful they were about getting quality ingredients, how often they received deliveries, etc. You could tell he was someone who cared about what he was providing. The four of us agreed that we all had a new favorite place to go. Looking forward to our next trip there.

We love TNT!!! Never disappoints! Staff is great! Almost always the same staff so they know how to respect the workers!...as much as the customers do! First visit for my niece who lives in Athol but says she will come back and recommend to friends!!

Recently we stopped by for lunch at The Neighborhood Tavern for the first time. The restaurant was spacious and well designed with a large bar and many cozy booths. I had a great lunch of short ribs, garlic mashed potatoes, and grilled asparagus. My friend had perfectly cooked shrimp scampi. Both meals were delicious! The waiter served the meals promptly and provided freshly made coffee. The portions were very generous. We were so pleased with the food that we ordered two creme brûlée's to go. This is a definite go-to restaurant!

I understand that it's hard to get people to work in this industry. The management should give their staff simple training. Our server never removed the dirty plates. She actually delivered desserts while the appetizer plates and the dirty dinner plates were still on the table. We were a party of 6 so that was a lot of dishes. I know it was rude but I cleared everything myself to an empty table next to us and it was still there when we left ! Train your staff !!!
