We ate a high top in the bar. It was busy but not overly crowded. The food was good. Two of our group got the mustard crusted chicken and was very good as usual. I got the haddock and it was also very good. Service was good.
Not Your Average Joe's is a well-managed restaurant that offers a clean, comfortable, and welcoming atmosphere. The service is attentive, and the food is generally delicious, with some dishes like the mustard crusted chicken and mustard crusted haddock being consistently good. Customers appreciate the friendly servers, who are quick to seat guests with a smile, and describe the food as excellent, mentioning a buffalo chicken with pineapple as a favorite. The restaurant features a variety of menu options, including a veggie burger for vegetarian diners. Drinks are made to perfection, and the bread and oil served at the start are enjoyed by many. Parking is available with enough spaces for over 20 cars, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Outside seating is a nice option, though during summer evenings, mosquitos can be bothersome. While some reviews mention that the drinks and the famous bread and dipping service could be improved, others highlight the good service even during busy times. There was a mention of a missing Keylime pie from the Oktoberfest menu, which was a favorite for some. Overall, the restaurant aims to provide a good dining experience, but there can be occasional inconsistencies with meals delivered, as seen in a recent incident where a chicken sandwich was served cold and raw, which was promptly addressed by staff.
