Man, this place was beyond exquisite. My taste buds were tingling with excitement once that slice of pizza entered my mouth. Excellent food!! Let’s not forget the service. I haven’t felt so beloved and worship by a group of staff since my last family gathering. What a moving and Inspiring atmosphere that is extroverted from the employees. You know how they say there’s no place like home , nah there’s no place like 1a pizza. 10/10 would recommend to a friend, or anyone you’re close too!!

Whether you’re in a rush and need to take out, wanna stay at home and get delivery, or even want to eat in with a few friends/family, this pizza joint sets a stellar standard. The atmosphere is inviting, the employees are kind and courteous, and if you even become a semi local, they’ll not only remember you, but be more than happy to see you again.They have the practice down to a T. Almost what you would call a streamlined standard for how to make each pizza, calzone, or anything that you could make. It is impressive to see them work, to get the job done quickly, yet have such a quality product.As for the food itself, because, of course you’re here for the food; the standard of every pizza, no matter what anyone says, is the sauce. The pizza sauce that they use is by far my favorite. The absolute perfect taste for a sauce that complements their cheese magnificently. If you’re not looking to try their pizzas though, they have plenty of other delicious choices; (note: get chicken fingers or fries with the honey mustard. The Honey Mustard is to Die for.)Of course, every single restaurant that you go to will eventually mess one or two things up. But for people to leave a bad review because of that, it’s laughable. Customer service was out of this world, 1A pizza has a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. Their delivery driver must have a hellcat or something because the delivery came insanely fast I’m talkin record breaking times. Juicy tenders, I mean everything about this place is great. Ps- get the buffalo chicken tenders?

1A Pizza's normally on point with my orders. Today, my experience was not good at all. I placed an in-person order and specifically requested not to toast my sub rolls for both cold cut subs. I also ordered extra lettuce on both subs but didn't receive extra.Luckily, I was in the pizza shop when my subs were being made because I witnessed my large sub roll with ham and cheese on it being put in the oven. I had immediately inquired if it was my order and two guys said yes; the guy who took my order and the guy made it. I had it immediately removed.When I got home my daughter's small turkey and cheese sub was missing the tomatoes. So, I drove back to the pizza shop to have the tomatoes added. The guy who made our subs did apologize for the mistake. However, I did not get an apology from the owner, who had acknowledged me with a head nod when I had returned.Once I made it back home and looked at both subs again, there was no extra lettuce on them like I had ordered. I had even inquired about the extra lettuce while the guy was making the subs and he confirmed that he added extra. I'm so frustrated because I gave a tip today that I feel wasn't deserved for my in-person order. Is there a shortage on lettuce???Any other time their food (pizza and chicken) is on point but today's order is a one star. My money was wasted today.No more cold cut subs for us.Also, little arguments with each other in front of customers is a no no.
