If you live in MA you know. For those out of the area the chateau is a classic family friendly Italian restaurant. It’s a local chain that delivers what everyone wants when craving some classic Italian dishes.
Is it a tally a 5 star restaurant, probably not, but it's my favorite. We grew up going to Chateau in Arlington (sadly gone) and my mom always used their pastene sauce for home cooking so they were integral in our household. The atmosphere in Norwood is just like the atmosphere in them all, very relaxed and fairly quiet with plenty of table side banter of people having a good time.
While the service was great, the food was not. My companion's tuna melt was cold and onion rings were so old they weren't even crispy.
My dinner was the shrimp avocado bowl, beautiful presentation but the shrimp were so overcooked l couldn't chew them. Threw most of my dish away.
