This place used to be a great little hidden gem. Sadly the only thing worse than the service is the food. We used to go here regularly as we felt it was one of the best breakfast spots we had found regardless of price (which are very affordable). But if it is inedible or poor quality, then price isn’t even a consideration. We went there this morning. This is one of those local hole in wall places with the super cheap silverware, mismatched plastic cups and hand written checks. Tables are crowded and the access to the bathroom is filled with storage. How this is allowed legally is beyond comprehension as it is wheelchair inaccessible. There are multiple menus offering a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items. However the menu descriptions and the actual food is not in sync. In some cases the customer is made aware such as a notice on each table advising a 50 cent additional cost to egg dishes, and sometimes not. Sausage and bacon list an order as 4 pieces yet when it arrives it is only 3 even though the price is the same. The coffee is weak, cold and flavorless. We should have realized we were in trouble when it took longer to get the coffee than it did to get the breakfast. A obvious sign it was precooked and sitting out back. My wife ordered Ham & over easy eggs with wheat toast and home fries. The eggs were raw, the whites runny and uncooked. The ham was over cooked to the consistency of jerky and had a soured taste the homefries lacked any seasoning except that from a dirty grill. Even the toast was simple warmed bread, not even toasted. I ordered a Belgian Waffle fully expecting the fresh crispy crunchy treat I had become accustomed to receiving here. Sadly what I received was a rubbery sponge that was obviously previously cooked (not sure if it was even cooked today) then microwaved. It was so bad the the cheap knife could not even cut through it much like the ham steak. The 3 (not 4) sausage were obviously left on the grill burning from earlier this morning; one side looked dried and shriveled and when turned over they were completely black and burnt. So much so, that I was left wondering if it was done intentionally in an attempt to try to hide how badly they were burnt. My over easy eggs were also raw. When you cut the white part you certainly don’t expect it to run all over the plate!. We attempted to flag down our server without any sight of her. After several minutes we got the attention of another server who went out back to get her. There were 6 other tables in the place at the time so I’m guessing service to customers is not a priority. We explained the problem with the eggs, ham and sausage. She apologized and took them back, quickly returning with replacements. The replacements were just as bad as the originals, once again cutting into the egg white to have it run all over the plate. The ham and sausage were the exact same one just partially hidden under the eggs. Once again we pushed the plates away and explained once again the still uncorrected issue to the server. She once again apologized took the plates away and brought the check! Clearly we were not getting breakfast there this morning. Bottom line $30 for two cups of weak coffee and a soggy waffle! The number one reason customers stop going to businesses is some feeling of indifference or lack of quality. Needless to say, although we really liked and supported Murph’s Place in the past, we won’t be going back. Hope they fix it before others feel the same.

Absolutely amazing breakfast spot! The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was top-notch—friendly and attentive staff who made sure we had everything we needed. The coffee was rich and flavorful, and the pancakes were some of the best I’ve ever had. A perfect way to start the day! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

The food is awesome!!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. It’s super busy around 10am so be prepared to stand in line for a table. During Xmas time Santa comes to all the tables and gives gifts to the kids. It’s a great place to get brunch.

Waitress was so kind and friendly but the food is tooooo salty. Everyone at the table had the same complaint. We couldn't even finish our meals because the salt was overwhelming!

I go to Murphs after church most Sundays with friends. The Food is decent and service good but coffee is terrible! Very watered down. Wish they would improve the coffee! This is important part of morning !

“Skillet” was filled with raw veggies and toast was barely toasted. Maybe pancakes are more their thing. Just gotta train your cooks to be a little more thorough and your menu will have no wrong choices.
